I love cowboys and am in the mood for sweet and sexy romances. This story didn’t disappoint. Her Christmas Cowboy picks up months after Kissing her Cowboy. Daisy has her job on the mounted police but things are not going as well as she hoped. She also has a letter with good news. She has been offered a job back home where she would fit in better. However her heart is with the sexy cowboy that taught her to ride. The problem is he hasn’t told her he loves her. Her dilemma is should she go back to her home where she is comfortable or stay in Texas hoping her Cowboy comes around? This is a very good story for so few pages. I love that the story is sweet and clean but still sexy. The story focuses on the romance building between Trey and her and her decision. There isn’t a lot of description, just crisp clean writing. Everything is to the point. I adore Trey and like Daisy. This is a must read if you’re looking for a very short sweet romance to fill a small amount of time. "Her Christmas Cowboy" by Adele Downs is a sequel to "Kissing Her Cowboy". Daisy and Trey - two souls that have helped each other through difficult times, and, along the way, fell in love. Now, Daisy is struggling with a decision that would take her away from Trey. Trey is a sweetheart - really no other way to describe him. He works hard and loves Daisy with all that he is. To be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of Daisy, at least not in this book. I understood her feeling a bit homesick, especially at Christmas time but she couldn't see what was right in front of her. In my eyes, she did redeem herself a bit at the end. This is a sequel to "Kissing Her Cowboy" and I highly recommend reading that first. I had not and did feel a bit lost as to the backstory of the characters, even though Ms. Downs does touch on the history, the story is just too short to rehash it all. Overall, this is a nice holiday tale about love and Christmas spirit. (Received copy for honest review)
Trey and Daisy's story is a heart-warming romance that you will want to read again and again. You don't have to start off by reading Kissing Her Cowboy, where their story begins, you can read this one first, but I promise, you do not want to miss out on that book! A policewoman and a cowboy, wounded characters who help each other heal, who find love in each other arms, this is definitely a heart-sighing, satisfying read. I'd recommend reading Kissing Her Cowboy and then going right into Her Christmas Cowboy. This author crafts emotion so well, the reader is feeling every single thing the characters are going through...talk about a great reading experience! This may be a Christmas story, but it's a perfect read for any season of the year.
This was a great sequel. I absolutely adore Trey. And frankly, I'm a little miffed that he's only a character and not A REAL GUY!!!
Since Trey and Daisy are already a couple, there's a lack of the initial awkward sweetness that all couples must endure, and in its place is a firmer and love-based bond . . . But since this isn't a fantasy-land kind of story, Trey and Daisy have to overcome some pretty realistic obstacles--like her struggle to make a decision that could end TRAISY! I, declare!
I loved Trey even more this time around, but Daisy sure did make me frustrated a few times. Spoiler alert: Thank goodness for happy endings! This is a great anytime read (not just Christmas!). Well done again, Ms. Downs!
This was a short book! I was not aware that this was a sequel to Kissing Her Cowboy. So when i started reading this book I was lost and kept telling myself there should be a book about how these 2 characters meet it would be amazing! Im sure that if read the 1st book it would a wonderful follow up on these 2 characters. Sadly I can only rate what Ive read , with that being said i will be giving this book 3 our of 5 fangs.

Although this is the second book I found I understood the storyline and got to know the characters again and maybe a little bit more than you would in the first. I liked the storyline, it is easy going and is definitely worth a read if you are between books. I really like daisy and her struggle to get her life back on track after tragic events with the help a sexy cowboy. For a short story there is alot packed in, conflict and decisions to be made for the two main characters. It is a heartwarming read whether you want romance, cowboys or both
I really enjoyed this book. The story line evolved some serious things but the characters were able to work though them together. A Cowboy and a Police Officer both fighting the feelings they have for each other. In there own way they both are afraid of being hurt. The characters seamed just like normal people. I was not ready for their story to end and would love to see what happens with his brother and her sister.
Whats better than a mouth watering cover? A genuine good read. A sequel to Kissing her Cowboy. It filled the need for more ( for now ). Well written with emotion and humor. You'll just fall in love with these characters. I just can't put this authors books down for long. A joy to follow!
Adele Downs did it again. It's a story about a city policewoman who is struggling to find where she belongs and the cowboy who steals her heart. Adele creates characters that come alive on the page and find a love that is worth rooting for. This story is sweet and powerful.
