谁叫我是哥呢

在外面，大家都叫我一声薛爷。
不过这不是给我面子，是给薛家二少面子。还记得十年前，二少还人前人后，恭恭敬敬叫我一声哥。
如今不同了，现在任哪一个上道的都知道，当家的是二少，我只是一个摆设。
平日里，他也不叫我哥了，就叫我薛兆，而我要恭敬地叫他一声，当家。

谁叫我是哥呢。

First POV fic, again, I normally don't read first POV fics but I'm more tolerant if it's from the top's POV (I am uninterested in any first POV fic from the bottom's POV)

Anyhow...well, the entire fic was rather a interesting Chinese Triad fic, where the MO changes from violence to manipulation. Main character is this hotheaded older brother who wasn't made the leader of his father's triad; his intelligent younger brother was made the leader. The point of the fic wasn't the slash, but the issue, and the author really did a good job on portraying the MC's life. I didn't really care for the MC (thought he was a bastard, but couldn't hate him. Just wasn't very interested in him). I loved the MC's younger brother, though XD The ending was totally unnecessary, however. I didn't like the idea of the MC getting away with cheating on his half-brother with that annoying brat and still being able to stay with his brother. Urgh. (Hence 2 stars)

Other than that, this was a fic that pushed my buttons.
