And now the things I think about that book... This is a tough one. Not because the book wasn't good, but because it was too good. I really want to write this review without spoiling any of you, so there might not be said much about the book at all besides a lot of *sighs* and *giggles*.

I got this book as an ARC-copy and I'm more than glad about this!

I'm no stranger to M/M books, but a lot of times it's either tough f***ing or no action at all. I like guys having action because, let's be honest, they have needs, too, but I don't like if they are constantly displayed as... I don't know. Either way, T.E. Ridener makes this HOT and STEAMY and yet DREAMY!

I loved the whole story, from beginning to end, starting with the way she describes the every day life to the very end where they seem to find the perfect solution. I loved, loved, loved the relationship between Kasen and Rowan because there never was a doubt that those two mean the world to each other. And then, of course... Uh, but I promised to not spoil anyone, so of course I'm gonna shut up now.
This is an easy, fast read, a cute novella that actually made me wake up thinking about it still a few days after I finished. Even NOW I keep going back to that little story.

As a streetteam member I got lucky enough to catch tiny sneaks before this story ever really was anything and BOY, I am so glad you all get to enjoy it, too. It seriously is a GREAT read to get in the mood for Christmas. I instantly went and pre-odered this book, meaning YOU should get on that, too!

Another great one, T.E. Ridener. Thank you!

*Warning: possible spoilers*

The Kasen and Rowan story picks up 6 years after the end of Chartreuse story, so if you're the kind that doesn't like spoilers you want to read that one first.

They're now married and looking to adopt.

It also has Jessica who didn't exactly have a perfect relationship earlier on, either. But now she also has someone who treats her like she deserves.

It is an m/m read, but that kind of thing doesn't bother me at all. In fact the romantic scenes were just as good as (and in many cases better than) half the "books" out there today that so desperately want to be in the "erotic" category...

It's a rather short novella, but enjoyable. I like that the family dynamic is explored, and no relationship is perfect, no matter who the people are or what sexual orientation they might be. Every person and relationship has highs and lows, and explore their lives around Christmas time.

Of all the negative crap out there (some "books" included), this is a fun, positive, and enjoyable read :D

Picking up 6 years after the end of Chartreuse story. Kasen and Rowan are now married with their two dogs and juggling busy careers. Rowan with his vet practice and Kasen with the Radio station. A typical married couple they get so wrapped up in their jobs and day to day lives they forget to focus on each other and there relationship. Just before Christmas one phone call changes everything.

What is not to love about this story, T.E Ridener brings to life a family dealing with the lows and the highs. She shows us how Kasen's Mum has changed since we first met her and that the couples friend Jessica who helped them be excepted by the town find the happiness she deserves.

I throughly look forward to read Jessica's story when it comes out.

While this is a male/male relationship with some sex scene like the first book its all about the love between two people, I highly recommend reading the first book Chartreuse first.

Another great story by T.E. Ridener. We are back to Chartreuse with Kasen and Rowan. After six years being together, we find them struggling with several issues but loving each other more than never before. This love helps them to deal with all the situations they come across.
A very down to earth story as it is about foster parenting and adoption by gay couples. Children just need love and they don’t care who gives it to them. It doesn’t matter if it is from a mum and a dad, two mummies or two daddies or even a dog as long as they feel loved and cherished.
A lovely story about love and loss very well written by one of the best indie writers of the moment.
