I think after his father walked out and losing his mom from stress and disappointment. Mike was trying to find love in so many places. And all he want was a Family that he can love and would love him back, that he did what ever it took to find that love, in the mist of all Mike got caught up in so much he lost his way. The little boy was crying for help and didn't know how to find it.so he took the wrong path thinking it was the right path...but in life we all get caught up in something, But what I really enjoy reading is that when Mike went to jail and stay out the way of the drama...he started thinking and putting things into acting, and letting God direct his path for him. he was determine to show the judge that he did not belong behind them bars. That he is a family man and got caught up in this thing call life just having fun. While Reading Michael D. Anderson....I cried, I laugh, I smile....to know this young man and not knowing what he was going threw.it hurt so much, it felt like I left my body and was taking this journey with him. And just couldn't reach him, but and the end of his journey God was right there to letting him know it's ok" I GOT YOU MY SON...............And life begin for you...........Love And Family.........I'm so happy for you my friend 4/Life...... Love you and your family...............AMEN

I must say I was spell bound. I could relate on so many aspects of his life. This book made me smile, cry, made me heart brake and inspired all at the same time. I truly enjoyed this book, because with each turn of the page, I felt God's presence and God's hand through out his life.

I rarely get a chance to read a good book due to life's unpredictable schedule of being mom & wife. A full-time employee & full-time poet as well. I received my much anticipated copy of my friend's book, Author-Michael D. Anderson published by a team that I've admired & respected for years and I am ELATED with what I read!!! I haven't taken the time to sit down with a book (aside from poetry books/chap books) in YEARS.... I promise you, I started reading this 200+ page book shortly after 9pm last night and FINISHED it close to midnight. This may seem far-fetched, but I'm going on record saying that THIS may be one of thee best works I've read... ever. Not only was it a page-turner, it was excellently written, well organized, and full of real-life emotion. Michael Anderson spoke and shared with transparency and humility. I was still discussing this book this morning upon awakening . Let me just say in conclusion that I pray your ink finds its way into many homes & may your story find its way into many hearts. Much love & Mad respect!!! Add me to the top of your pre-order list for the next release, my goodness.....

When I say I enjoyed this book, that would be a understatement. I felt the emotion through every sentence, every word. Nothing was sugar coated, so real on every level. I went through so much in my childhood, in life in general and reading this book made me that more thankful, and shocked that the man Mike became despite the obstacles that he faced. It showed me you don't have to be or play the victim. You can survive. I had tearful moments while reading just trying to figure out how he was able to stand so strong and proud, still never to complain, even when confined. I'm proud he shared this story, his Story!! I will be looking forward to a movie, or another book soon.

This book was a transparent scope into the harsh upbringing and life of Mr. Michael Anderson. I enjoyed the raw, almost unbearable honesty. He seems to have become so numb over time to the snowballing tragedies of his childhood. His open self reflection was admirable, unforgettable and unbelievable. This is a great read for adults, especially men struggling to find their place in and out if ghettos across America. Great Job Mike!

Natural born Survivor was a excellent read very captivating.I was instantly engaged as soon as i began reading. I was trickled with many different emotions. From wanting to break down in tears, to laughter, to admiration. All the different challenges he was faced with, he never let that totally break him or change who he ultimately was internally. I highly recommend this book as a self help book, for individual whose been faced, or being face with similar circumstances.

This is truly an remarkable and inspirational story about 3 expectant mothers who defied death at the hands of the Nazis to give their children life. Wendy Holden is to be commended for telling the story of this time in history with such compassion. It definitely is another "Must Read", especially for those who enjoy nonfiction!
