They say I’m dead. Good. That lie has kept me alive for years.
I was MI6’s best, until an extraction mission in Prague went up in flames. Three agents died. One of them was Logan’s partner. Logan who is cold, relentless, and the only man who ever got under my skin.
Now I’m back, and I need his help.
I have something he wants, a ledger that could expose a black-market arms ring and shatter Cerberus from the inside. But Logan doesn’t trade in favors. He trades in control.
His terms are I belong to him for the duration of the mission. Every breath, every move, every surrender, under his command.
But as we spiral deeper into a world of shadows and lies, across glittering casinos, brutal fortresses, and private clubs where control is currency, I start to question everything I thought I knew, about the mission, about Cerberus, and about the man who holds all the power.
Because the most dangerous thing I’ve ever done… Is let Logan Radcliffe back into my heart.

This was another action-packed story that kept me curious until the very end! Vivian and Logan have a past built on betrayal. They had to overcome it to begin building a future together. This book was very fast-paced, and I would've enjoyed having more romance and spice. Overall, it was a fun read!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Logan thought he'd lost everything on a mission and thought his past had been buried underground. However, not everything is behind him, and now, in the present, the ghosts he thought were forgotten have returned to life. Vivian, for her part, had to disappear years ago, leaving her story behind, but the memories that were once only shadows have now become an impossible reality to escape.
Together, they must face what haunts them, while secrets and feelings never confessed come to light. Logan longs for Vivian to trust him completely and give him her heart, body, and soul. But she has built walls to protect herself from the betrayal that once shook her foundations and forced her to flee. Even so, Logan gradually breaks down those barriers, and as he does, the love between them grows stronger.
At the same time, the dangers of the past resurface, and the game is set, turning into a game where every decision is crucial. If they want to end the problem, they will have to work together. Although nothing was easy, Logan and Vivian managed to win the battle and achieved victory together.
I loved how Logan showed Vivian that she could trust him, slowly winning her heart and offering her protection, even at the cost of his own life. I also admired Vivian's strength, the way she pushed through her fears, letting Logan in, and finding love, refuge, and the strength to fight her fears in the only man who sees her and loves her.
In conclusion, this book was a hurricane of emotions. Thank you, Delta, for giving me the opportunity to immerse myself in this story. I eagerly await the next book, because although Logan and Vivian triumphed, the battle is not over yet, and the dangers still lurk. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh my goodness so much action and intrigue. Logan and Vivian are such a productive team. They work so well together, they have the same goals which creates a team that accomplishes much. The ending though is very open for another book to come in with maybe Archer or Darius and just who is the new Nocturn. Fabulous book.

CODE NAME: HUNTER is the second instalment contemporary adult CLUB OPUS NOIR erotic, romantic suspense series co-authored by Delta James and Annie Carlisle, set in Delta James’ CLUB SOUTHSIDE/ CERBERUS worlds. This is former MI6 operatives Logan ‘Hunter’ Radcliffe and Vivian ’Nocturne’ Black’s story line. CODE NAME: HUNTER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual first person perspective (Logan and Vivian) CODE NAME: HUNTER follows in the aftermath of an assignment in Prague that went all to h*ll. Two agents reportedly died; their bodies never recovered, but for all intents and purposes, three died that day including our story line hero. Fast forward to present day, former MI6 agent Logan Radcliffe has been assigned to ferret out the woman he thought was gone, a woman whose information could take operatives world wide, information for which a group known as the Iron Choir is prepared to kill. As Logan and Vivian journey through Europe searching for a ghost, our couple struggle to trust one another in the wake of previous betrayals, secrets and lies.
The world building follows Vivian and Logan as they search for the truth. A former MI6 operative is presumed dead but as our couple follow the trail, not everything is as it appears to be.
The relationship between Vivian and Logan begins as an assignment but quickly turns into something more. Logan is determined to claim our heroine as his own, ensuring their Dom/sub relationship is more than a plan of action, ensuring a building trust that continues to implode. The $ex scenes are limited but erotic and provocative.
The secondary and supporting characters are energetic including the return of Fitz aka Fitzwallace; Cerberus agents Archer Hayes, and Darius; former MI 6 agent Sir Alistair Keene, former Operative Wolfe.
CODE NAME: HUNTER is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, trust and abandonment, acceptance and love. The fast paced premise is intriguing and dramatic; the romance is limited but impassioned; the characters are determined and charismatic.
The story is another spin-off from the various Cerberus offices and lifestyle clubs, with this one operating in Monte Carlo. It will have life and death danger, mystery, suspense, and romance—along with the good, the bad, and the evil of humans.
The story is a mystery, suspense, lies, deceit, and questioning who to trust and who is playing you. The beginning, which will set up this tale, begins in Prague, Czech Republic, with three operatives: Adam Wolfe, Vivian ‘Nocturne’ Black, and Logan ‘Hunter’ Radcliffe. Gunfire, explosions, and in the end, Adam and Vivian are gone, presumed dead.
The story will have Logan recruited by Fitz and Vivian resurrected from the dead. The tale will move around various places, from Monte Carlo, Monaco, to Switzerland. It is espionage, secrets, and reckoning. The good, the bad, and the evil will all have their roles, with multiple governments, countries, and crooked players involved. When Logan and Vivian once again meet, he will shake up her world, and with Fitz and Cerberus involved, the gameboard is set, the moves will be made, and lives will be changed. This isn’t a game of cat and mouse; it is chess, and the players determine the future of countries.
“Dominance is leverage, not indulgence. Use it wisely—or she’ll weaponize it before you have a chance to.”
The story and characters are intriguing. The missions are edgy, and the stakes are high. Whom do you trust, and who is the enemy? The chemistry between Logan and Vivian is challenged with trust issues—are they playing each other, or can they work together for the good of the world?
“Choice. Finality. Redemption. I don’t know yet which one this night will give me—but I know I’ve stopped running from all three.”
I loved this suspense filled drama by Delta James and having not yet read Code name: Ghost I will definitely be adding it to my TBR list! This is Logan and Vivian's story. A second chance at love as when working for MI6, love and romance took a back seat, and Vivian was with Wolfe! As both Logan, Wolfe and Vivian worked closely together, when a mission that had both men and Vivian being compromised, Logan lost everything he held dear. His partner Wolfe and Vivian that he had loved from afar, gone! UNTIL! Vivian needs his help and she knows how to get his attention. A woman he thought had died in Prague! A woman he had loved from afar and could not reconcile that she was no longer in his life! As Logan and Vivian learn to trust one another again, there are many unanswered questions. Vivian had to stage her own death to stay alive and hid from the world for 4 years before she made her move. She held a dossier in her hands that named many high ranked and influential people that she knew Cerberus would want to obtain. So she made a deal, her life for the dossier.... The trouble with this plan was that hidden secrets begin to unravel her plans and ghosts from her past come to pay her and Logan a visit. A fast paced story when both Vivian and Logan find their mutual love for each other is reciprocated, but they need to find the elusive Wolfe, who also seems to have staged his own death in Prague and eradicate him once and for all. (or is it a copy cat??) Loved the mystery and hype and this kept me attached to my kindle until the last hurrah! And yes there is a HEA for Logan and Vivian!
Nice follow-up to Ghost; another Cerberus installment European style This book was made up of beautiful poetic prose. Such as, “last door you walk through when you’ve got nothing left to lose” or “He looked like every dangerous decision I ever almost made” or “I’ll never apologize for surviving.” Believe me, there are many more. After a mission that went off the rails with several dead operatives, Logan Radcliffe aka “Hunter” is given a desk job instead of the field work he was accustomed to doing for MI6. He was grieving his best friend’s and should-have-been lover’s deaths: Adam Wolfe and Vivian Black. That angered Logan as much as hurt. Somebody knew what they planned to do on that mission! How? Who? Four years later Logan is sitting at a gaming table when Vivian slips in the seat beside him. What?! She is alive! Does that mean that Wolfe is alive too? The crux of this story is what transpires after Vivian tells Logan about the dossier she has that could bring down many alphabet agencies. After about 20% it becomes a page-turner and steamy when Vivian and Logan share their lust for each other. Revelations get people killed or brought in from the cold. The beginning is beautifully written but lacks action so the first part was slow. Once this book gets in gear, it truly becomes a page-turner. I volunteered to review an ARC of it through BookSirens.
Logan and Vivian both cold, calculating operatives as well as keyboard warriors. They were able to move, manipulate, hide, and decode data as easily as they could wield guns, knives and explosives. Their ice only seemed to melt for one another. It never felt to me like Vivian submitted to Logan except for one time, and I didn't get the impression that was the total submission it appeared to be.
I thought it was interesting that they communicated in such a way it seemed like they were speaking in a code they only understood. I admit to being a bit confused about the Wolfe, Logan, Vivian relationship. At one point Vivian talked about Wolfe training her and another time she mentioned Logan training her. Maybe I misunderstood or read it wrong.
The story was intriguing and the Iron Choir aspect definitely left room for more action, danger, suspense. I wasn't getting a strong romantic vibe from this couple. I think because so much time was spent focusing on their mutual distrust. Their connection only seemed like a strong attraction that didn't end up being more until the very end of the book. But maybe that was all it was supposed to be, nothing deeper.
Opens In Monte Carlo as part of Cerberus Lifestyle Clubs, action filled with life and death situations This is a story that is full of action and suspense and deceit with the true questions actually being as the story is set in Prague, Czech Republic with three operatives Adam Wolfe, Vivian ‘Nocturne’ Black and Logan ‘Hunter’ Radcliff. Gunfire and explosions this leads to the assumption that Adam and Vivian are now presumed to be dead. Logan is recruited by Fitz and Vivian who were initially believed to be deceased, this story is filled with espionage, secrets and reckoning. When Logan and Vivian once again meet, he wants to shake up their world with Fitz and Cerberus involved. This is a real in-depth story and the it is essential that the players have to determine the future of countries. The story and the characters are intriguing and the mission is high stakes, who is it it safe to trust and who is the enemy? The interactions between Logan and Vivian is challenged with trust issues and they are obviously playing each other; they have to work together for the benefit of the world as a whole. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.
A pulse pounding, intense action suspence romance by Delta James in the Cerberus family, Code Name Hunter tells the story of former MI6 agent Logan Radcliffe and his once upon a time partner Viviane. After "dying" in an extraction gone wrong 4 years ago, she now needs Cerberus' help reclaiming a normal life. In trade she has a dossier (the mission objective 4 years prior). She thinks she will be the one calling the shots. She. Thinks Wrong.
Delta weaves tension between Logan/Hunter and Vivian bridging the years in the blink of an eye. Other questions arise as well. Could others have survived the explosions 4 years ago as well? Just where is the target on her back coming from? Pealing back these layers will lead them further into already muddy waters with unsavory company. They will need to learn to trust eachother again if they hope to see the other side intact. Is that really something Vivian is capable of, fully trusting another, even Logan? Don't be so sure either way. This story will definatekybkeeo you on your toes, gripping your Kindle and cursing the characters (some oth them) for their choices. Don't miss it!
I received a gift copy of this book and volunteered this review. Happy Reading Y'all 📚
The second book in the Club Opus Noir will continue.as explosions rocked the street. Three of MI6’s best agents were murdered including Logan Radcliffe’s friends, Wolfe and Vivian. He has barely recovered from their loss when he sees Vivian Black (aka “Nocturne”), she is alive! She had earlier been in Prague to uncover a dossier, a ledger, that would help them bring down Cerberus. Does she have the ledger and did Wolfe also survive the explosions that day? The ledger is her plan to stay alive by revealing the information over a period of time. Logan wants her, he wants her brilliance, he wants all of her including her submission to him. As they flee from place to place, evading the danger and searching for Wolfe, they realize that somehow, they are being tracked…but how? They battle against a man who looks similar to Wolfe, even to the special ring that Wolfe always wore. Traveling from safe house to safe house they find a folder labeled “Iron Choir”, will they finally face a meeting and reckoning with Wolfe? Don’t blink as with the turning of the page they will be needed to face a final challenge. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)
Vivian Black was a MI-6 operative who stole a dossier that contains information that could shatter all the spy agencies and even topple governments. Her escape is compromised and she is not sure whether it was her lover and fellow agent Wolfe, operative Logan Radcliffe, or someone else. Then an explosion kills Adam Wolfe and she separates from Logan with a statement that they will meet up at a secondary extraction point, but she is apparently killed before she can make it there. No body was recovered.
Four years later, Logan has quit MI-6 and has been recruited to Cerberus and is working out of the new Monte Carlo office above Club Opus Noir. When he sees Vivian sitting in a booth at a local casino, he first suspects she is the bait for some kind of trap. She was declared dead for years ago, why is she here now? She wants Cerberus's help - the dossier in trade for protection. Logan has always wanted her, but can they trust her? Then, another ghost appears...
I find these books to be repetitive, which is annoying. This one is no exception. They seem to be continually surprised at the growing evidence that Wolfe is alive. Every time they find a clue. Grrr. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
One of the things I love about Ms. James writing is how she gives environments, situations , actions, and scenery verbs and emotions which Increases tension and suspense. The wind screamed, ice crystals cut like knives, regret hits harder than a fist. Not a true example but similar to how her descriptions and prose generate a visceral response as a reader. Her 2 main characters are so guarded and have so many hidden secrets and knowledge they compartmentalize, it is amazing how they let down part of their walls in small incremental portions to allow them to get closer and establish or re-establish trust. Then in the face of learning that people they thought they knew and loved have walked a path they never anticipated it knocks them off-center forcing them to regroup and change their path. There are so many emotions written into Vivian and Logan's story. We can tell their lives have been beyond complex! Working their way to a HEA was as complicated as the lives they live! But in all the complexity, their feelings for each other ran as an underlying strength and certainty when it was all sorted out! Great book. I loved their story and how it worked out. I received an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
The fusion of the formidable writing duo with mind-boggling wordbuilding, was utterly amazing and seemless. A powerful entry into the world of Nocturne aka Vivian with Operation Persephone going south in Prague, considered KIA as well as Wolfe. Hunter aka Logan was made the disgraced scapegoat for the failed MI6 operation until Fitz pulls him into Cerberus to run Opus Noir in Monte Carlo. But, Vivian survived, she's back in the game with a dossier containing deadly, damning evidence and she's changed the rules. Is Wolfe alive? I was enthralled with the multi faceted character of Vivian, deadly yet a survivor with her insecurities. Yes,spice even though trust wasn't ultimate yet before HEA. Iron Choir ain't defeated yet and a new Nocturne... My lips are sealed except to say grab this book. I received an advanced review copy and leave this review voluntary Thank you BookSirens
Hunter/Logan and Nocturne/Vivian’s story is a full on mind boggling story from the first page ! Who’s really dead ? Who was the traitor in MI-6? Then you get the heat that had always been between Hunter and Vivian , that neither one ever let boil over, because they knew it could burn the world down. Delta James gave us some of her hottest characters yet, as well as some fantastic scenery in Morocco and Geneva! This story kept me on the edge from page one ! Though I will say I had who was the traitor and who was really alive versus a look alike, fairly early on. Though be prepared at the end for a bit of a Wolffe/Nocturne redux. 5✨’s for a masterfully scorching read, though I wish we’d have had more time and visuals at Opus Noir and seen JJ& Fitzwallace. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Logan Radcliffe, code name Hunter, and Vivian Black code name Nocturne are both former MI6 agents. Now they have a new mission, expose a powerful man with ties to many illegal activities to the world at large. Unfortunately, in order to carry out their operation they will have to evade assassins and a dead man before they can successfully complete their operation. Another action-packed and exciting book in the Club Opus Noir series which is an offshoot of the Cerberus series. Plenty of steam between the main characters, surprising twists in the plot, and some d/s make this a must read book. Wonderfully written and fascinating characters that I thought were very realistic and believable. I loved this book and these characters, so I highly recommend it.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary ARC provided by Book Sirens.

I absolutely loved reading this book it was definitely amazing I was mesmerised I couldn't put this book down, the story was written well and the characters were sensational. This story was about Wolf, Hunter (Logan Radcliffe) and Vivian, they were on an assignment together when it went horribly wrong, Vivian disappeared she was blown up the same way as wolf. Hunter was with Kate at the time of her going up in smoke. Hunter was in love with Kate and he wants to forget what went down. This story was another Cerberus pulling another ex military into the hot deliciously dark, brooding Hunter kept seeing himself with Kate in a club that belongs to Cerberus. This is a book not to miss I would highly recommend reading it.
Logan Radcliffe was deeply involved in an MI-6 operation in Prague that fell apart. His partners, Wolfe and Nocturne, were reported dead, which forced him into a desk job. However, he didn’t stay sidelined for long—he was recruited by Fitzwallace at Cerberus, where his skills could be put to better use. Logan always suspected that Vivian (a.k.a. Nocturne) and Wolfe weren’t actually dead, as their bodies were never recovered.
Now, in Monte Carlo, he proves his instincts were right. As the second-in-command at the Cerberus Office on the top floors of Club Opus, he spots Vivian at the casino. After following her to her hideout, he successfully captures her. But the burning question remains: is she playing for the enemy? And could that enemy include his former friend Wolfe?
If you want to know the truth behind these suspenseful twists, dive into this gripping thriller.
After the operation in Prague, everything changes for the with three operatives Adam Wolfe, Vivian ‘Nocturne’ Black and Logan ‘Hunter’ Radcliff. With everyone believing that Adam and Vivian are now dead.
Later Logan is recruited by Fitz and also Vivian. When Logan and Vivian again Logan wants to burn the world, but he will make her pay in away that can cause pleasure and pain.
Trust is something neither are strong on. In between the learning to trust, these two have to learn how to work together.
This book is full of secrets, intrigue and action. Loved how the characters were written, you can feel the darknesses and angst.

Thoughts: This was a great suspense romance. It had lots of action and intrigue and it was neat how their organization was hidden on top of a kink club. Don’t expect a lot of BDSM though. I would consider this more kink light and not really much of the storyline. This was more about the spy craft, wrapped in a bit of romance.
🛑Please read all the author warnings as themes and events depicted in this book could be triggering. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Logan and Vivian are made for each other, both arrogant, head strong and deadly. The story is written with a lot of descriptive paragraphs that goes into great detail about what is happening and what the space surrounding it looks and sounds like. That is great in one sense but it takes away from some of the space designated for dialogue. It’s action packed with surprises around every corner. Once you start reading, you want to continue to see what happens next. This story leads into the next phase of this cat and mouse game to eliminate the threat of the Iron Choir. As always, I love when Fritz is involved. I received a free copy of this book via Booksirens and are voluntarily leaving a review.
Logan Radcliffe was part of MI-6 operation in Prague that went wrong...his partners Wolfe and Nocturne were both killed and he was relegated to a desk job, until he was recruited by Fitzwallace of Cerberus. He also had his doubts that Vivian (AKA Nocturne) or Wolfe were actually killed as bodies never found...and now in Monte Carlo, sees he was correct. Now second in command for Cerberus Office at top floors of Club Opus in Monte Carlo, he spies Vivian at the casino, and after trailing her to her hideout, brings her in...but was she actually playing for the enemy and did that enemy include his former friend Wolfe??? You will need to read this thriller to see what happens...I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.
Logan, Vivian, and Wolfe were on a mission Vivian had been undercover to get information on Valloir’s operation, Wolfe fakes his death Vivian flees with the information. Hunter is blamed so put on a desk job at M16 Fitz find him and offers him a job 1/ to find Vivian also getting that information she has. Vivian has sent some of the information to Fitz encrypted and starts seeing Wolfe who sends men after her. Logan and one of the team saves her later they find a tracker that had been put under her skin after they had been attacked again. At another safe house she finds something in her bag left by Wolfe so they decide to make a trap for Wolfe. She goes to confront Wolfe herself the woman he brings starts shooting the men with them, Logan takes care of Wolfe.
Code Name Hunter is the 2nd book in the Club Opus Noir series, a collaboration between two prolific authors with distintive writing styles which unfortunately didn't fully melt into a cohesive storyline this time around, instead coming through in a number of inconsistencies between chapters and the feeling of going around in circles which left me a bit frustrated at times. Yet there's undeniably lots of tension as well as plenty of twists and turns which kept me well entertained and eager for the next round in this fight between good and evil. I received an early copy and am leaving this review voluntarily and honestly.
This story was a whirlwind of suspense. Loved the twists . POV of Vivian and Logan advancing the story. Well written. Steam to the eventual romance. I loved how bossy Logan was to Vivian in the beginning of the story and how she was then bossy to him in the middle to end. She gets to use the word "now" on him. Fitz of course has sage advice for Logan. Which made me smile.
I liked the complexity of the story line. Easy to follow with the perfect amount of depth to the characters.
I'm looking forward to reading Archer's story next. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This book is full of betrayals, danger, intrigue and passion. Vivian is a puzzle. Strong and deadly, yet a very vulnerable woman. Logan is a man who will do anything to protect and dominate her but maybe not completely trust her. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I felt like I started reading this book in the middle and never really understood if it had a beginning. Definitely not my normal read but good just the same. If you like political intrigue, danger around every corner and a story that will keep you guessing, then you will love this book.
Logan and They have history. They were betrayed. She has something he wants, he needs. He can give her what she needs. While trying to regain their trust their lives are in danger. When they start to question their mission all he!! breaks loose. The well written story takes you from country to country and exotic locations. Its full of secrets, danger, betrayal, spy ops, suspense and two charecters full of chemistry and intrigue. Delta James brings another thriller romance to the pages of our world.

This is a story you have to pay attention to to follow it as it is full of suspense, betrayal, intricate plans and interactions that are essential to understanding what is happening. Oh and don’t forget to breath occasionally because you will find yourself holding your breath as it gets intense which it does often. The writing is atmospheric and you can feel the cold, the mist and the snow and ice as you are dragged into the story. An intriguing new character is introduced who helps Vivian and Logan. A gripping story that is hard to put down.
A book chalked full of excitement and action from beginning to the very end. Logan thought his team members Vivian and Wolf were killed on their last op four years ago. Now, Logan learns that Vivian might be alive. Logan was experiencing so many emotions, as he had had feelings for Vivian. After, finding Vivian the race was on to save her life. Someone wanted the information she had. They team up to go after them only to discover that Wolf might be alive too. This story does end on some what of a cliffhanger.
Book 2 Club Opus Noir story of Logan and Vivian. I have to say this one sucks you in and keeps you guessing what will happen next. Who is the bad guys, why did Vivian do what she did, but most of all which one will submit to the other. I have to say the suspense and mystery was ever intriguing and fascinating. I was hooked by the drama and chemistry between these two characters. I can’t wait to see what the next suspense rom story has in store for the next couple.
