Step back into Austen's England, where three courtships bloom amid danger and the Darcy household must confront both obsession... and poison.
I've been writing since I was 5 years old. I've always had to set it aside and try to concentrate on so-called 'real life' though. I've had a number of interesting careers - engineer, real estate sales agent, owner of an electrical goods store, silversmith - but finally the time has come for me to return to my first love. Writing.
I've always loved the works of Jane Austen, so perhaps it's fitting that my first published work should be a variation on the much beloved Pride And Prejudice.

I also write not-for-profit fanfiction set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and if you'd like to read those free works please go to the Archive Of Our Own and search for the user handle ozhawk.
Warning: Meant for mature audiences. Contains scenes of poisoning, and suicide. Readers of a delicate constitution are advised to keep their fans and vinaigrettes close at hand.
It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I couldn’t put it down, I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. You will see the most beloved characters in a whole new way. This is a Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice variation. So with all that and more this story pulls you in and holds you tight. It’s a must read. I highly recommend to everyone.
I enjoyed the mysteries intertwined with the traditional P&P variation. The writing struck me as more polished than some variations. I do feel however after reading all three in this series that it would best have been only one book without all the unnecessary repetition. In this final installment, for instance, how often do we have to be told that Anne has changed, Kitty has matured, and Georgiana has blossomed? Too much padding…
The focus of the story was Anne de Bourgh. I liked the story and the murder mystery which happens about midway through the book. Darcy and Elizabeth are there as supporting characters, which I didn’t mind.
It was definitely better and more interesting than the second book. I liked the first and third books of this trilogy.
Well written coming of age for Georgianna Darcy, Kitty Bennet, and Anne deBourgh. Each finds her way to maturity through experience and adversity. Anne’s path is most difficult but most rewarding as she becomes in truth mistress of Rosings.
A very enjoyable variation that centered mostly on Ann , kitty and Georgianna , but could be repetitive in its wording , also I missed the other characters , her stories lean towards the dark side but as we interesting
Great series. Very emotional and another death! Actually 2 deaths! And why? Lol Lady C leaves Anne for the Darcy's to introduce with their sisters. Still have our HEAs.
This was an ambitious effort. Although Bilson can be a bit repetitive sometimes, her plots are creative. She does a great job of introducing new and distinctive characters, and tying up complex developments.
