After barely surviving her first year at Elemorix University, Zephira Voidspire returns to a world unraveling. Her parents are gone. Trust is a luxury she can no longer afford, and the fragile hope she sparked has ignited a rebellion that threatens to consume everything.
The continent teeters on the brink of war as the Ascendant tightens her grip, determined to extinguish the rising threat of the Voids once and for all. Allies become enemies, secrets surface, and Zephira must navigate a war she never intended to start.
Beside her stands Draven Skyrend. They began as rivals, turned reluctant allies, and are now enemies once more. Bound by duty to a collapsing empire yet fiercely loyal to Zephira, Draven walks a knife's edge between betrayal and devotion.
In war, love can be a dangerous weakness, and Zephira must choose between loyalty and survival. To save the rebellion she started, she may have to destroy the one ally she never wanted to lose—the boy who was both her greatest regret and her deepest love.
When I say, I could not put this book down, I literally mean that. This book was so good. The plot was amazing. The banter was amazing. Character development was on point, there were so many twist and turns that you never knew what was actually gonna happen. The second you think you have it figured out something totally different happens.
This was the perfect sequel to this series, and I was absolutely obsessed from beginning to end. I also really enjoyed the fact that we got to see a lot of new characters and a lot of new magic.
I absolutely could not put this book down. It was so freaking good and I cannot wait for book 3.

An Explosive, Emotional Sequel that Left Me Reeling in the Best Way Possible!
I pre-ordered Rebellion the moment I could, and spent four long months (impatiently) waiting for its release.
From the very first page, Rebellion throws you into a world on the edge of collapse. The stakes are higher, the emotions sharper, and the action relentless. Zephira is back, fiercer and more broken than ever, and her journey through grief, mistrust, and rebellion was both heart-wrenching and empowering. The political tension, the shifting alliances, the betrayal and that steady pulse of danger just kept me devouring each chapter. And Draven? Oh, Draven. The banter, the heartbreak, the double-agent tension, the trauma he goes through (without revealing too much)… it all gutted me in the best way. Their chemistry, their bond is electric and beautifully messy.
What I loved most, though, was how this story doesn’t shy away from the cost of war or the weight of choosing sides. The Resistance, the Elementals choosing to use their privilege for good, the blurred lines between right and wrong—it’s all layered in such a realistic, thought provoking way.
If you love rich worldbuilding, morally gray characters, angsty love stories, and explosive twists, Rebellion delivers in every possible way.
I’m not okay—and I mean that as the highest compliment.
My goodness, this book had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The twists and reveals were jaw-dropping and left me reeling. Nyx nearly dying had me clutching my chest, and Astra’s grief pushing her into almost betraying those she loves was gut-wrenching. And then the lingering question of where Draven and Zephira went… I am still screaming. The cliffhanger has me in shambles, and I need the next installment immediately.
Draven and Zephira continue to own my heart. The moment Draven says, “You don’t have to earn love, Zephira” completely broke me in the best way. That one line was so powerful, and the fact that he remembers her and they are together again gave me hope in the middle of chaos. Yet the last few chapters had me throwing my book across the room only to pick it right back up because I could not stop reading.
This story is dramatic, emotional, and unforgettable. The world-building is immersive, the characters are complex and flawed in the most human ways, and the emotional beats land perfectly. Rebellion is the kind of fantasy that makes you feel everything! Love, fear, betrayal, and hope... all in the span of a few chapters. I absolutely love this series and cannot wait for what comes next.
