But that was before her mother arranged for her to spend the summer on a remote island off the coast of Maine. Spending her summer vacation cooped up on a small island where there was no electricity or internet was the last thing Cheri wanted to do. She wouldn’t even be able to call or text her friends. There was no cell phone reception on the island. The place was too remote. As far as Cheri is concerned it’s going to be the most boring summer ever. But she has no idea about what lies ahead…

This was a great book! I loved how the main character started off wanting to go to summer camp with her best friend then going to an island and having more fun than her friend. There was a huge storm and they survived. This book was an appropriate book.
