Humor is a delicate thing in erotica, and Bo Noir seems to understand that a little goes a long way. When it's revealed on the second page that the narrator of the story is "Lord Dingleberry," I feared the worst. But what we have here is actually a pretty solid little Kipling-esque spoof about a white solider and his native girl lover, and how he saves her life from the wrath of her tribe. The pip-pep-cheerio verbiage is very tongue-in-cheek, but not lazily so - Bo is having fun, and has a love of language, and keeps the integrity of the silly story together without winking at the reader too much.
As for the sex & romance, Bo is really a bit of a softie, too. I was surprised at how sweet and tender he treated the affair between the native girl and her British lover, and how easy it was to believe he was falling in love with her, and would risk life and limb for her - even within the jokey context of the story as a whole.
But speaking of tenderness, I think calling this story "Cannibal Cuties" is a bit misleading. That's not really what the story is about at all, and at no point do we get a classic "Man in a cooking pot" scene like the one on the cover. When the native girl finally does eat a little meat, it's at the very end of the story and pretty incidental. However, Bo did include the juicy detail of her using some entrails to tie her lover, the narrator, to her bed. That's the kind of thing I'm always hoping to come up with on my own.
Recommended for readers of the "Men's Adventure" sub-category on Amazon who like a generous dose of humor with their pulpy yarns, rather than the "Erotic Horror" crowd to which I belong. But hey, that wasn't the category it was placed in. I just couldn't resist that combination of title & cover.

Cannibal Cuties by Bo Noir was gifted me by the author and I'm giving my honest opinion. This book is a a novella and is very brief. it's a typical male fantasy . A young man enlist in the Navy and is sent to Papua New Guinea. Land of savages and head hunters. A young man's fantasy with naked women and barely covered men. One nubile woman needs assistance. A rival tribe of headhunters wants to take her home to be dinner. Our hero shoots one of the hunters and the other two flee. She takes him and his three sailors back to her village where they meet her chieftain. He's angry with her. The two hunters from the other tribe say she seducer them to be eating her, she smelled so good. There would be a trial. That night the young sailor experienced things he never did before or since. There was little sleep.

I really enjoyed ths short story "Cannibal Cuties" by Bo Noir. This is a very intelligent and witty satire that left me with both the emotion of excitment and maybe just a bit disgusted.
It's very funny throughout and the author has done a great job of keeping the story very entertaining and fast moving.
I can highly recommend "Cannibal Cuties" to anyone that loves a great spoof and I cannot wait to see what is next for Bo Noir.

I think this is a short comedy with some tall tales of sexual fantasies of an older man. Loved it though it was cute....LOL

Interesting book. Well written, erotica. Not for the faint of heart. This is a short story - quick read. Read it in about an hour.
