A mysterious kidnapping on the outskirts of Jersey City sends a young woman with unique talents hunting for answers inside the past lives of donated thrift shop clothing.
A missing girl. A dark secret. A dangerous gift.
Ten years ago, Fiona Ferguson’s cousin, Sarah, vanished without a trace. Fiona knows she could have told the truth about that night—but she chose to keep a secret.
Now living a quiet life working at a New Jersey thrift shop, Fiona has buried the past.
Until another woman disappears.
When Hannah goes missing on the tenth anniversary of Sarah’s disappearance, Fiona discovers she can relive the memories of women who once wore the donated clothes in her shop. What begins as a strange gift soon becomes a desperate search for answers.
As Fiona uncovers secrets hidden in her neighbors’ lives, she realizes the missing women may be connected—and the truth about Sarah could be closer than she ever imagined.
Staying silent could cost Hannah her life. Speaking up could cost Fiona her own.
Last Seen in Chilltown is an atmospheric supernatural mystery with magical realism, small-town secrets, a twisty missing-person investigation, and a morally complex heroine.
I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania before heading to NYC and then Los Angeles to study film and fashion. I now happily reside in North Carolina, but I cherish all of the chapters of my life and the various settings I have called "home."
I like to write stories that center strong, complex women navigating personal and social upheaval. My debut novel, Last Seen In Chilltown, delves into the tensions of mother-daughter relationships, small-town living, identity, and women overcoming adversity. Not only is it a gripping domestic suspense and time-bending mystery, it's a story with meaningful themes about forgiveness, redemption, and second chances.
When I'm not writing, I love to cook, hang out with my rescue dogs, play games with my kids, and karaoke.
