This book offers brief overviews of symptoms of various stomach ailments, including Crohn's and Candida. In addition to explaining symptoms, tips and recipes are offered to help manage each ailment. I think that this little book is a great choice for someone who is looking for a brief overview of these ailments.

-Gluten i kazeina powodują problemy i zaparcia i inne skutki uboczne nawet u osób bez nietolerancji. Z drugiej strony kefir poprawia trawienie i pracę jelit.
-probiotyki są bardzo ważne. Zaleca się przyjmowanie w tabletkach, ewentualnie jogurtach.
-korzeń dziwidła to najlepsze źródło błonnika
-regularne stosowanie srebra koloidalnego zmniejsza grzybice jelit, która wpływa na cały organizm
-by zwiększyć ilość spożywanego błonnika warto mieszać otręby pszenne z owsianymi. Pszennych pół szklanki, a owsianych 1/3. Dodatkowo nie można zapominać o grochu i fasoli. Należy je jeść 3 razy w tygodniu
- ser, jaja, kukurydza, pszenica najczęściej powodują zapalenie jelita grubego (twardy stolec, zaparcia, biegunki). Należy unikać kawy, cytrusów, orzechów, produktów mlecznych
-Imbir znacznie poprawia funkcjonowanie żołądka i jelit. Niweluje gazy i zaparcia.

Started of good, explaining things, giving instructions. However the further I got to the end, the more disappointed I got. Quite outdated, since it still uses the traditional Food Pyramid, which is surprising since it’s been published in 2015. Also, the main loss of 2 stars comes from the incorporation of Bible quotes and statements that God will guide you to a healthy intestine....

***I received this book at no cost as part of GoodReads First Reads Program"***

21 Secrets For A Healthy Gut is chock full of great information the reader can utilize to promote the health of the gut. The book is composed of 21 chapters on subjects ranging from common digestive maladies to actions that can be taken to improve the health of the gut. Inflammation, constipation, Chrohn's disease, IBS, and celiac disease are all touched on and suggestions given to modify the diet to alleviate symptoms.

The book is published by Siloam, the leader in Christian health publishing, and ties in biblical references throughout. I believe this may make the book especially digestible (pun intended) to their target audience, while others may prefer a different book on the subject.

One suggestion I might make would be to include a reference chart comparing suggested and prohibited food items by malady, so that someone with digestive issues who is undiagnosed would have a starting point and an idea of what should "never" be eaten. I think also that each chapter should highlight a "secret", in keeping with the title of the book.

Overall a very helpful pocket-style reference book that should help a lot of people.
