A two-man anthology with eleven Netherlandic "stories" that range from one to fifteen pages. I found none to be interesting or thought-provoking and cannot figure how this sold beyond one printing.
Almost all are awfully annoying awkwardly arranged attempts at abstract and avant-garde art.
The second star is for the passable art in two or three of them and my appreciation for the English translation.
What grabbed my attention most? On the unique 1.25 inch inner flap of the front cover I noticed "send well-concealed cash" to their address for the second volume of the series. I don't ever remember seeing that as a payment option- especially as the only one!
As for the first volume, they describe it as "unsightly doodles & pseudo-artistic scripts". That certainly applies to this one as well.
