Since moving to Kent, George’s life has changed dramatically. Teaming up with Billy has paid dividends; they are now the proud owners of two clubs, both of which are bringing in good money.

As they expected over time with success comes trouble, but George is no longer the dedicated Detective. Now he’s on the other side of the law, yet despite this he often feels Billy and the others keep him in the dark over certain matters, especially those involving dodgy deals and murder. It’s when the nephew of a local crime boss targets Mickey’s daughter Charlie, during an evening at one of their clubs, George tells them he wants to deal with it. He’s about to let everyone know that he’s one of them and there’s no turning back.

Karen Clow is passionate about her writing especially her erotic crime books; as they cover topics which we all like to believe don’t happen, when in fact they do on a daily basis. Sex crimes along with women who live in fear of their partners are real. All her work comes from the heart which is reflected in her ability to write in different genres. Her books leave you believing in the topic and wanting to read more. She is fiercely protective over her family and has always endeavoured to have time for them and her writing, so it’s no surprise that she often writes during the night hours. With a genuine love of people and animals, she strives to help everyone in the hope of making their lives better, yet unbeknown to many of them she is also a published poet .

Absolutely loving this series of books. The characters, the story lines are superb. Must admit the constant sex is a big yawn. That sort of sex life is few and far between but it seems to be all of them at it. This isnt 50 shades this is gritty crime drama. Also glad to see not so many typos this time but can l add the saying is " another thing coming" not another think coming" why does everyone get this wrong??
But fair do's a good book and looking forward to starting the next one 👍

Just keeps getting better

Wow this book is packed with twists and turns and certainly had me on the edge of my seat. The lives of all the family's continue to survive in a world of gangsters and extreme violence. Tony's boys have definitely come into their own. I can't wait to start the next book and I would highly recommend this book to all.

Favorite line: "The others left shortly afterwards, each of them going to kidnap their designated pervert."

It's like the criminal Super Friends!

As always Billy was entertaining and my favorite character. The women were kept in the dark and mostly pushovers, but I like that Casey stood up for herself as much as she could.

I kept waiting the whole time for Vito or Carlo to start whoring around like Tony. They picked up some of his traits, which worries me for the future book.

Is it crazy that I miss Tony and Jimmy?

Although it was George turn it remained centred on the Ramon family and the contained tale of repercussions. Still a great follow on with lots of issues going on.
