Single in a Small Town

Rate this book
Dating in a small town is hard. Not falling for your friend’s brother? Even harder.

Madison King is single for the first time since junior high and determined to make the most of it. After a devastating divorce and one regrettably amazing night with her friend’s brother, she’s back home from vacation and ready to focus on what really rediscovering the colorful, confident girl she used to be.

She’s got a plan, starting with everything from a fresh hairstyle to new paint on the walls. There’s only one absolutely no more Bryan Thompson.

She might even go on a date or two… but dating in a town like Fawn Creek? Not exactly the fresh start she imagined. Between nosy neighbors, awkward setups, and walking red flags disguised as eligible bachelors, Madison’s quickly learning that being single in a small town comes with its own set of challenges.

Maybe Madison is destined to be alone after all.

Or maybe her friend’s brother isn’t nearly as off-limits as she thought.

I was honored to receive this as an ARC because I could not wait for this 3rd installment of the Fawn Creek Series. Michelle did not disappoint. The main characters and their love story may be my favorite yet. The way you get glimpses of the beloved characters brings Fawn Creek to life as a whole other world to escape into. I've read it twice now and can't wait to see what Michelle has in store for us going forward!

Michelleeeeeeeee. This one is SO good.
Definitely my favorite of the Fawn Creek series.
It’s the perfect, sweet rom-com with all our favorites from the first two books sprinkled in. More local spotlights which is always fun and excellent references… ahem, Gilmore Girls. ☕️
Five stars, my friend. 👏🏼
This one just checked all the boxes for me, wonderful feel-good read that flowed well from start to finish and had banter that kept me hooked.
Bryan + Maddison
She’s freshly divorced and not ready to be front page news on the rumor mill. Running her daycare and keeping up with her two young daughters is all she can imagine at the moment.
He’s long been unattached and counting down the days from his military retirement. Finally ready to put down roots, and not one to shy away from a little baggage.

Book three of the Fawn Creek Series did not disappoint! Another feel-good romcom that makes you feel like you could be a part of the friend group. I have just devoured the last two as soon as they came out. These are such a nice respite when I typically read about things like Fae wars for magic and worms that eat you from the inside out. (IYKYK) Cheers to Maddie and Bryan!

Super cute third book in the series. I loved the main characters in this book. They felt genuine, and the age gap was a bonus. I would love to know what happens to them in the future! Ross has a way of bringing small town stories to life in a delightful way. 5 stars!

Such a cute book that had me tearing up at the end. I love all the extra little Easter eggs of real life places in the area that make it into the book.

An easy read with just enough drama to keep it interesting without getting whiplash from constant drama.
