Justin Renaud is a co-owner and manager of Club Extase, Manhattan's hottest new night club. Rachel Cooper is a junior executive at Jacobs & Sloane Advertising. Justin sleeps with women but never offers any commitment. He doesn't have to. He likes it that way; it is uncomplicated. Rachel is looking for "Mr. Right" and the relationship that will last. Justin and Rachel are all wrong for each other, but when they meet there is an undeniable attraction. Justin must decide if he is willing to complicate his life to be with Rachel. For her part, Rachel must decide if she is willing to find out if "Mr. Wrong" could turn out to be "Mr. Right."
Justin needed something new in his life. He was so bored with his business job, he just quit. His family's former restaurant has been sitting vacant since his parent's nasty divorce and Justin wants to open a club with his brothers. The only problem is the advertising. He needs something to showcase "ecstasy" for his new club, Club Extase. Rachel has recently been promoted to a junior executive. She's about to have her own advertising account, but isn't exactly sure who that client will be yet. Justin has seen the ads for another account and wants that person to be in charge of his account…and maybe she'll be as sexy and beautiful as her ads. He can't wait to meet her.
Ooh yeah, this is promising to be quite a sexy series! I'm already on the edge of my seat waiting for more so I can't wait to dive into Club Extase, Part 1. This prequel, Before Club Extase has certainly whet my appetite and has built my anticipation for the whole series. The characters are already sensual and the idea of the club itself assures us there will be plenty of sexual adventures coming. Ms. Adams presented this prequel in a way that perfectly intrigued us and ramped up our desire to come back again and again. I like Justin's assertiveness and Rachel's desire to meet the perfect man, but delaying her gratification, holding out for her "hero". I'm hooked and already coming back for more! 5 Stars
A little short and I was anticipating Rachel and Justin meeting before this book ends was disappointed that they did meet as the title says its a prequel and this looks to be a series what with there been 4 brothers and all, sounds good so far E.J. Adams
Geez! Of course I then had to purchase the entire boxed set so I can find out what is going on. I'm hoping that we can learn more about the other brothers and maybe get their stories as well - even Megan would be a nice story.
I have to say great pre story. Sets the characters up very well. I really can't wait to read this series. Very sexually charged in the pre story..... I can't write more going to read the series..... Th E.J. Adams for this series.
Yes it's a slightly different way of how the story is laid out, there's sexual tension between 4 different characters which I'd going to be a build up to the 2nd book where 2 of the characters are going to meet, as they work together
