While the idea is lovely, and the in person workshops are probably fabulous, I found myself deeply disappointed with this book. It's only saving grace were the photographs of the dolls she and her students made. All of the "how to" could have been covered in two pages. It doesn't include any in-depth guidance about the spiritual part of building the dolls. Her Instagram is more in depth than the book. Sadly, after excitedly awaiting the arrival of what I had expected to be a truly insightful, beautiful book, this one was a big miss for me.

Helpful for those who are interested

I especially appreciate the meditations and gallery towards the end! A very 'grounding' read. A MUST HAVE for those in quarantine and wish to do some healing!
