December 11, 2015Great stories and dreams from the Maya Zinacantán people of Chiapas, México, told with humor, realism, and a great sense of metaphor. They are neighbors of the Chamula and interactions with them occur throughout the book. Compiled and translated into English by ethnologist and linguist Robert M. Laughlin, who compiled The Great Tzotzil Dictionary of San Lorenzo Zinacantán. The tranbslations are excellent.
