1980, American hardcover edition (this title was first published in French in Paris in 1978), David McKay, NY, 186 pages. Drawings, illustrations by Antoine Lamazou. Translated by Mark Brackenbury. The author, at the time of publication, was one of the world's most famous yachtsmen. Here he provides expertise on the handling of today's yachts, large and small.
Ah Tabarly. Maestro de maestros. Una guía excepcional. Sobre todo si te quedas sin motor y necesitas entrar en puerto. Fuera bromas: buenas explicaciones y aclaraciones sobre el por qué de algunas maniobras.
Brief and to the point. Pertains largely to the author's own sailboats. Presupposes familiarity with sailboat terminology and nautical jargon. But given the above, it was well written and enjoyable.
