this book is a collage of things surrounging the feast of Haker. there's a mess of texts on the middle of the book and it's sort of tiring to go to the note section every new parragraph. I think it's a good introduction to the feast on Abydos but leaves a lot of information about out. Very happy with it containing illustrations.
This one does a very good job of explaining the myth in the beginning, including what each character stands for. Then it goes on to give a very complete version of the myth.
This book is so engaging and mind-blowing! Honestly, Jules Cashford did an amazing job in depicting the Gods Isis and Orisis as real people who fell in love only to end in a tragedy. Must read!
