A complete language course that will teach you to be able to speak, write and understand basic Swahili in no time. Many language books are boring—this one is not. Written by a native Swahili speaker it offers hundreds of words for using the language more fluently and colloquially with fewer obvious errors.
Written with common sense and a minimum of information it covers everything from pronunciation, verb usage, and common grammatical mistakes to the subtleties of addressing other people, words that look alike in both languages, inadvertent obscenities, and intentional swearing. She guides readers through the set phrases and idiomatic expressions that make the native speaker's conversation and provides a valuable introduction to the most widely used Swahili slang.

This is my book and I think it deserves a 5 stars from the amount of time and love I put on it.....:) It is easy, funny and not boring at all. Although it's funny and not boring at all but it is more of a professional language learning book...Read it if you would like to learn another foreign language as a hobby or as a challenge or if you are planning to visit any of the Swahili speaking countries.
