Let me start by saying that I have respect for anyone who can put out this quality of work when dealing with a language that is not their first language! I was pleasantly surprised to read that this author is from the Philipines, which is where my daughter-in-law is from also! :D

I will admit that the incorrect word usage and sentence structure in this author's stories can be annoying, but if you look past that and get to the heart of the story... you will find that it is a well-planned storyline with some interesting characters thrown in for future books!

The old saying is true... opposites do attract! Jayce is the complete opposite of Dimitri, except for the attraction that they feel for each other when they meet! Then there is the whole, one's a vampire and the other is a human... yeah, and then you throw in a werewolf, or two... a demon, an incubus and a siren and you have quite the party! Well, the party has to wait until after the human is rescued from the bad guys and then you have to wait for the human to declare himself to his vampire lover... then, finally, they will party! *grin*

I am loving Into the New World series by author Frey Ortega. In Irrevocably Intertwined we meet the vampires. I love a hot vampire and Dmitri fits the bill with spades. He is a strong alpha male. He has a kind heart, very fair in his dealings with others.
Jayce is used to getting the short end of the stick when it comes to life. He worries about a lot of things. He needs someone in his life to take some of the burdens away. Let his mind rest and catch up. He does get that in Dmitri
I really like the fast paced story. There are characters we know and love from the first story, and some new ones to fall in love with as well. I also like getting to know some of the politics and world building. The main story is there as well. I feel that this series is turning into a well rounded well thought out one that I keep wanting more from. I think Frey Ortega is now my new guilty pleasure for reading. I know this book will be on my keeper shelf, whenever I want to remember that love is worth fighting for I will drag this one out to read.

I think it is everyone's worst nightmare that you are taken out of your own home only to be sold as a sex slave. Jayce wakes up in a different place. He looks around and find the most gorgeous man he has ever seen in bed.

Dmitri and his father went to the slave trader with the intention to buy someone and save them from the horrors of being a sex slave. The minute he saw Jayce something told him that he needed to save him.

I found it a little weird that Jayce accepted who Dmitri was so easy, but I am guessing that was because fate was stepping in again.

It was definitely lust at first sight. As they spent more time together, the closer they came. When Jayce was take, Dmitri would do anything to save him. That is when he knew he wanted Jayce as a bloodmate. Now, he just has to save Jayce and convince him to be his, forever.
