First of all...THANK YOU to Quarto Publishing for allowing me to review this awesome children's book. I love the opportunity to review a work of art that could possibly make a difference in a child's life.

Spot The Dinosaur On The Island is full of activities to do with your child. There are hidden objects to find, colorful scenes with animals to discover and learn about, and there are several informative sections that help to introduce interesting facts about nature and animals to children.

"The Pterosaurs flew in the sky above the dinosaurs. Some of them were as big as planes."

Spot The Dinosaur On The Island is full of engaging activities that parents can do with their children and the last page has several more activities that parents and children can do and learn together.

There are so many dinosaurs and scenes that parents and children can make up several games and activities to do together on their own. I really loved the illustrations because they were bright, colorful, and lifelike which is sure to catch a child's attention.

At a certain age, who doesn't love dinosaurs? Youngsters will have a chance to learn all sorts of interesting facts about what dinosaurs ate, how they moved, and how they reproduced while trying to spot a baby T. Rex in every scene as well as other objects such as a yellow flower, bones, a purple egg, even a mountain in the various colorful pages of the book. For anyone who enjoys doing those search and find activities, this book will have great appeal due to its interactive nature. There is a pronunciation guide for those hard-to-say dinosaur names too, and this book will provide plenty of distraction for curious readers. Even adults may find themselves poring over its contents. This one will fly off science classroom shelves.

Another equally fun book in the series. This one was especially interesting to my son because of all the dinosaurs, including T-Rex, the velociraptor etc.

Learning in a fun package.

Spot the Dinosaur on the Island provides a colorful, interactive introduction to dinosaurs for young readers. Each double page spread highlights a different kind of dinosaur with a brief poem, followed by a brief list of five things to find on the two pages. In addition, there is a baby t-rex hidden on each spread for the reader to find. This is a series that is both highly entertaining and educational as well. The notes and craft suggestions at the end are a nice bonus.
