There aren't many guidebooks to Dubrovnik. And I wasn't visiting anywhere else in Croatia so didn't feel like I needed a Croatia guidebook. This book divides Dubrovnik into a set of walks. This is a good format if you follow the walks but if you just happen to be walking past something that looks interesting it makes it tricky to find out more about it. And some things aren't explained in any particular detail. The pull out map was handy. And at least one of the restaurant recommendations was a great tip.

This was ok for a basic guide. I think it provided good information, but I much prefer the style of the Lonely Planet travel guides.
