This is book two of the guardians of the realm series and can be read as a standalone but is good enough for you to look up the whole series.

The sleepy town of Eagle Crest has legends like most towns, but theirs is real.


Gabe Nicholetti woke up and moaned 'not another one'. He often dreams of people being dead and knows he can't stop it happening. He makes it to his boss Ben's office and waits to tell him. Whilst waiting he spots the girl he saw dead, in a picture with Ben next to her, he now felt awful he had to tell him.

Detective Rily Carrigan couldn't believe her old school friend, Allison was dead, and in her town, after moving years ago. The coroner left a note for her, saying she was healthy and that she shouldn't be dead and has no idea why she is.

Gabe goes to meet Rily and the sparks start to fly. Gabe picks up vibes that Talia, Ben's daughter was around the area, and knew that danger followed.
