This self-help book gets high praises for its organization. Grouped in sections, which are; Fundamentals, Before the Interview, During the Interview, After the Interview and Bonuses. Furthermore, this book is structured in such a way that it would be best as a refresh or reference book. In my reading, I found it most beneficial as I engaged in the Action Points section at the end of each chapter. This book will no doubt help me improve my communication skill through the entire interview process. On the other hand, there is one element that I found a little agitating, repetition. Perhaps D. Neil Berdiev is trying to grind a point home, practice, be prepared and do your homework.

I give The Little Silver Book a sold four stars, for structure, usefulness and readability.

I know better than anyone how important the interview is in landing a job. With an oversaturated market full of qualified (and overqualified) applicants, it more or less comes down to the interview. That’s why ‘The Little Silver Book’ is such a valuable tool. It also covers so much more than just the basics of interviewing—you get to learn about cover letters and all the other elements you need to have the strongest application possible. Honestly, everyone should be using a tool like this if they want to actually be competitive in the job market. Otherwise, it’s just too difficult.
