I really enjoyed this book! A bit slow to start, as I had to adjust to the world, but it sucked me right in and I found myself thinking about the characters and the story when I wasn't able to read. Can't wait for the next book in the series!

Very interesting book. I especially liked the character development and treatment of gender, the concept of monosentience, the broaching of environmental issues. There is much here that can be applied to present day.

This book is a great start in what might be a series. I look forward to the next one.

Quelka fash, Emma! Nice going.

Mechalarum was different than anything I have ever read. I liked the way you used so many descriptive words for the characters, developing who they are. You did a fabulous job with the descriptiveness of the settings, as well. You have a real talent for allowing the story to build to create predictions. This story has many more books to the series. I can't wait!

Mechalarum takes you into an unique and interesting world. One of the things I enjoyed most reading this book was learning about the various locations and technology. As well as uncovering the motivations of the diverse cast of characters. I'm really excited to see what comes next!

This was my 1st sci-fi read. I enjoyed the book very much, I think this would make a great screen play. I was left feeling that there should be a 2nd book, a continuation of Kiellen and Gage's new lifes.
