Casey Nash and Jamie Mason team up together for a brand new Western adventure!
When a man of the cloth travels through central Texas with his brood of indigent children, he is commended for his ministry. He gladly takes the generous offerings of money, food, and clothing from the sympathetic. But that’s not all he takes. This preacher, Pa Piper, kidnaps children and sells them to the mines for slave labor.
Marshal Jubal Stone is now on his trail. But he’s not the only one. Piper has garnered the attention of Marshal Jack Hardesty and Kit Sloan.
How long will it take for these men to find and bring to justice this wolf in sheep’s clothing?
Another good read from Casey Nash! As westerns go this one is a little different from his typical tales. It deals with kidnapping for child labor purposes. It was, as always, well written and touching based on the subject matter. I would definitely recommend it!
The hard - nosed lawmen meet their match, when they are faced with children looking for home. Not a lot of shooting, but plenty of children seeking justice.
