Wearing Flowers Wandering In the Night is an easy read, it records the author's travels across both Asia and Europe. But it's not an ordinary travel guidebook, the author wrote about the different landscapes of different places, he also mentioned the many ghosts of the rebellious spirits from the past, the death of three young Chinese poets in the 1980s, the underground communities of artists and rebels, idealism's struggle for survival in the age of globalization and neo-capitalism etc, etc. Many of the articles are insightful and impressive, but some articles just aren't as good; therefore it is not my most favorite book of that author.
