This was my first read from this author and it turned out pretty good. Even though I knew this was written from a hood standpoint, there were a few simple mistakes. I just loved Tauk and the way she carried and handled herself. Kek seems to be a pretty good dude. Man Renard has truly messed up in the worst way! Lex about to go in straight beast mode. Keisha is young but I can tell Carter doesn't really care for the ghetto type too much. Shanna need to get over her feelings before everything she's trying to do backfires on her. Really Rena?! I love Pinky. For her to ride with Judson through everything plus not have any problems with his kids is always a plus. I just hope he doesn't mess it up. As for Connie, she needs to get it together! I'm ready for part 2 to see how Tauk and Kek will work out, what will come about with Renard and Lex, will Keisha become wifey, what will come about of Bates and Sams scheme, and will Shanna and Rena both get what their trifling behinds deserve. They all clearly showed it's just a hood thang!
