About the author

Dee Bogetti is a service dog trainer, consultant, and author. She lives with and loves a small herd of Labrador retrievers ranging in age from 9 to 13 years. In addition to training people and their dogs and writing, in recent years Dee created an apprenticeship program for service dog trainers, a school access test with service dog health screening for service dogs, train-the-trainer workshops, and Brown Dog Tales, the newsletter. Dee is a sought-after blogger, as well as a writer of poetry and creative nonfiction. When not training or writing, Dee enjoys woods walking with one or more of her dogs.

This book is great. It helped in picking out my dog to become my service dog. This book helps you to realize that this is a long process, but in the end it is so worth it. You will have an unbelievable bond with your dog. I am also using Dee to help train my dog and she is Wonderful as well.
