Just Emily

Rate this book
Emily suffered horrifically at the hands of her abusive husband. Once ready to give up and die, will Emily find the strength to be whole again, physically and emotionally? Though her mother is dead and her father has not contacted her in years, the very fact that she has been abused leads her to find an extended family willing to help her escape and a near-tragic accident presents her with the opportunity to believe in love again. This suspenseful novelette follows the concert pianist as she tries, fails, and tries again to escape the inhumane, torturous jail she has been forced to live in her entire adult life.

Pain, and Anguish......Go Away!

This is a well conceived and written story of a young woman held captive in a marriage. As a sensitive man, it was hard to read at times. Brutal treatment to include abuse and injury are the treatment this lovely Emily received. This sordid tale ends happily though, and I am warmed that so many people helped her.
