What a wild ride!! It was absolutely unhinged, full of crazy twists and lots of spice!!! The MFC, Whitney, has some serious past traumas and secrets!! She is attempting to reclaim her identity/life throughout the book after leaving a complete POS ex!!! While rebuilding her life she becomes a stripper at Mayhem, where she meets 4 masked men, Hawk/Crow and Red/13, who also have some pretty dangerous secrets of their own!!! Not only does she have their attention, she also gains the attention of a masked stalker whose intentions are anyone’s guess!!! And a MAJOR cliffhanger ending….WTF…..NOOOO!!!!

A wild ride from the beginning. There are so many twists throughout the book. You think you know what's coming next, but NOPE...
The FMC Whitney goes through so much trauma from the beginning. Having to learn to stand up for herself and be strong because of her traumas.
You get all the yummy goodness. Masked men, why choose, possessive MMCs, bikers, stalker and soooo much more.
The cliffhanger... Mrs. Ma'am!!!!! Can't wait for book 2.

However, now her past is back and there are so many moving pieces. She has no idea how many things in her life are not as they seem.

I could not put this book down, KM Rogness did not disappoint with this story. And the best part is that she isn't done, there's more to come!
Whitney, the FMC, has gone through so much pain in her life. She's had more physical and mental pain than most could even imagine.
We get all the dark tropes in this part of the story; masked men everywhere, Stalking, why choose moments, obsession, possessiveness, domestic and physical violence, murder & more!

this book was sooo wild like I didn't expect the twist and turns happening!! loved this book soo much and I want to know everything in the next, in the beginning itself we are brought into the chaos of the world and how everything happens and how each of the MMC view the FMC and let's say it was sooo damn hot and the protective aura they ooze..❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

I cant quite get over what I have just read, this book took hold of my emotions and shook them until they made no sense.
Masked Mayhem is the first part of the Behind the Mask Duet. There is no HEA and it ends on a cliff-hanger so be prepared! It is a dark, why choose, stalker romance (SO READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS FIRST) with 4 tremendously hot, possessive, obsessive and protective masked MMC's. Havoc and Crow (Raze and Hawk) have been stalking Whitney (our sassy stripper FMC) since she arrived in Boston, they have always been fiercely protective of her whether it being for the Masked Mayhem society or for their own personal reasons. However, when Red and 13 (Cade and Carter) arrive on the scene, things start to take unusual turns.
There are a lot of twists to this story and it all add to the delicious tension building between Whitney and her 4 admirers. When she starts receiving notes and texts from an anonymous source (possibly from her past), they all vow to protect her and will do anything that is necessary to keep her safe.
The way the characters all intertwine is remarkable and really builds the story beautifully. I will be going back to read Breaking Boston, as although not required to read Masked Mayhem, the characters from that story cross over into this one and it would probably provide some more information to make a few things make more sense within MM.
The spice in this book is to die for, there is lots of sharing and I am completely here for it (I wouldn't be able to or even want to choose between these 4 men). Definitely falls into the 4 chilli rating from me due to dubious consent, drug use and sharing nature.
I cannot wait to read book 2 and find out how everything is going to unfold. KM builds strong characters, great plots and plenty of smutty tension to keep you salivating and wanting more.

Masked Mayhem is full of spice, is super unhinged and crazy, and is an absolutely wild ride! Every book K.M. has written instantly has all of my attention - the moment I read the first line in Masked Mayhem was no different.
Masked men. everywhere. What more do I need to say for you to be hooked on this book? It also has stalking, biker boys, is why choose, and has possessive, obsessive, and protective men! This book has heavy desire, revenge, seduction, chaos, and so much emotion packed into it!
Whitney is trying to become herself after her life is flipped upside down. While trying to navigate her new path, she gets dragged into the world of Mayhem - where she meets violence, danger, drugs, secrets, and so much more.
Oh! Did I mention there's toxic, depraved, beguiling men in masks? 🤭
This book is dark so please check all the TW's but if those are okay with you, I highly recommend this book 🖤

"Masked Mayhem" dives us right into the world of masked fighters and sinfully hot dancers.
KM Rogness leads us through the story of Whitney (aka Raven), a spicy dancer, as she tries to heal from her trauma and immerse herself in a new, mysterious world. As any good why-choose FMC, she just can't help but feel attracted to two pairs of two hot, masked criminals who simply can't stop themselves from being around her.
I found this an interesting beginning to what I'm sure will be a fun duology!
I only wish there were a bit more balance between all the MMCs. Sometimes I felt like some of them were prioritised over the others, which is honestly something that can happen pretty easily in why-chooses. Since this is a duology, I'm sure "Unmasking Mayhem" will bring them all closer!
This is my first book by KM Rogness, and I can't wait to read more!

Okay besties, let me tell you—Masked Mayhem was a ride. Dark, gritty, and laced with suspense, this book kept me flipping pages needing to know who the stalker was. Whitney is the FMC with a fierce backbone and dealing from a very traumatic past, and then we’ve got Havoc, Crow, Red, and 13—yes, that’s four morally grey men, and yes, the spice is absolutely worth it. 🔥 The intensity? Chef’s kiss. The mystery? Had me guessing to the end... and I'm still freaking guessing!! It has good potential and it held my interest, and I need book two like... yesterday. I absolutely devoured this book. The twists and turns right from the start had me hooked from the beginning. The way KM writes her stories? An automatic yes from me when she releases a new one. The masked men trope….dear lord I am here for it. The cliffhanger? Ma’am….i am not okay. I cannot wait for more. All the dark themes are covered in this so please make sure to check your triggers before diving in.

if you could put my favorite tropes in 1 book- this would be it. Masked men, Stalking, Why choose- the plot was plotting and the spice was spicing. The character depth really struck an emotional chord with me- the FMC really went through it. This is one of those stay up til 3am reading kind of books. KM Rogness has become an auto buy author for me. I can't wait for the chaos of the next book.

I waited closer to the release of book two before reading this book and I’m glad I did. THAT ClIFFHANGER! Book two cannot come fast enough.

Omg!!! It’s got bikers, it’s got secret clubtivities, it’s got secrets on secrets on SECRETS!!!
The way I’m just waiting for Crow and Havoc to take their masks off 😭😭😭 tbh I’m hoping Whitney gets fed up and yeets them off one day 😂😂 Also…it’s gonna be crazy when everyone finds out about Red and 13 😳😳 ALSO!!! Ugh I need to run to book 2 and see how this all plays out!!!!! Good thing it’s a complete duet 😍
There are dark themes, but not excessively so, I think it’s baby dark going into dark, just for the violence and unaliving but it’s pretty low on the manipulation, very much does have gaslighting though 😂 and there is a suspense element with stalking (not by any of the MMCs)

This is a great 5 ⭐️ book ! I love the way the author interconnects one of her earlier books into this one . Whitney is one bad ass chick , then you add her roommate Boston , simply perfect .

Amazing. This why choose dark romance is a story of a broken down girl who finds a crazy but protective group to call home after some very traumatic moments. Strippers bikers and a found family makes for a great read. Cant wait for unmaking mayhem.

Sex, danger and love? This book has so many layers to it and not in a bad way at all. It all ties in together and the story as a whole keeps me wanting more! I devoured this book and couldn’t get enough of these characters. First off I love Whitney and the spark and fire she has! Seeing her grow more confident in herself as the story goes on was so good to see. She has fire and doesn’t back down but knows when she needs to keep it low to stay safe. She doesn’t take stupid risks. This book was one of a kind and I haven’t read anything quite like this! I loved it but that ending?!? Can’t wait to read book 2!

Stalkers, masked men, and danger?! Count me the heck in please. This was such a fun ride. I loved it. The characters had so much life to them and it made the book AMAZING.
Whitney broke my heart, my sweet girl. I can’t wait for her to get her happy ending. Because man does that girl deserve it.

This was a whirlwind ride I truly enjoyed getting swept up into. So many dark tropes to enjoy. Multiple unexpected twists, trauma, obsession, revenge, and secrets of plenty make this a real page turner. The spice is super spicy and all kinds of why choose kinky. There are a lot of deep traumatic emotions felt. If you like multi POV, why choose, stalking, masked men, OTT/OBP dark smut and so much more then this read is for you. We are left with one doozy of a cliffy and I cannot wait for what’s next.

This was my first read from KM and I can’t wait for more. This book was wild and hot and definitely had some twists I didn’t see coming. I couldn’t put it down. That cliffy though. Can’t wait to see how this plays out with Whit in book 2. Check TWs then dive in because it’s definitely worth the read.

This book had me hooked just from the dedication and I couldn't set it down since, I liked red but I have a feeling betraying whitney & Havoc & D it may not end well I could be wrong though... So much smut and spice I love it and the hidden behind the masks loved it Whitney started a new life after her abusive ex boyfriend Dustin and she loved her life as a dancer with Boston but then things started to get weird she had a stalker and not the sexy kind , someone was texting her saying weird things he was watching the shadows and knew every move she made, my favorite character was Havoc protective and possessive the gun scene oh my !!! if you like a why choose masked men, stalker romance and tons of spice oh your in for a treat because I absolutely loved this book!

Was I expecting the Breaking Boston crossover of my dreams? No. Am I freaking out that it happened? YES. I loved seeing my old favorites make a reappearance in this new duet.
We meet Whitney who has moved to Boston from California with a new roommate who is none other than Boston. To make some money, they start working at a smex club, and some of the mysterious masked men who visit the club are Whitney’s stepbrothers who are very protective of what is theirs.
Whitney has been through it and we get to see that right from the start. Despite what’s happened to her, she’s resilient and a fighter. She doesn’t let what happened to her define her or dull her confidence and I have so much respect for that. The spice in this one might be the best Kasey has written to date. I ate every second up right up until our abrupt cliffhanger ending.
