Very good one that gives different perspectives on play, good food for thought. Looking back at a play-based child care center I worked at before, I can see what it lacked: too much structured for a play-based learning.

It can be hard to apply child-initiated play in an environment where parents want their children to be geniuses (so early reading, maths skills are more desirable), or where hierarchy is too strong.
