Love this story!!!

Ah Walt and Danielle always have an adventure that takes you for a ride! I was not expecting what happened to happen in the first chapter! Marie once again proving to be a guardian angel to someone who I didn’t even consider as a main character in this new book! The storyline gives an interesting twist and keeps you hooked!! The beach drive mediums have a fun Christmas season with plenty of story time with the others. I love that we get to read about the twins and the shenanigans they get up to. I have a feeling that Jack, Addison, Connor and Emily Ann are going to be one tight knit group of friends with Eddy Jr and Evan! I can’t wait for the next book to come out! I may reread this entire series! Again!

A truly heart warming tale of Christmas traditions. Yes, in true Danielle stories we do have a murder or three and the discovery had me sitting on the edge of my seat, but they become the back seat fodder for a warm fuzzy story. Marie is a heroine and Adam and his reaction to happenings are really funny. He and Melony are tickled pink to be in the 'cool group'.Danielle's skill of getting information she needs under the cover of simple curiosity reminds me of what I called my moms way of a fishing expedition. She was always able to dig and get the truth! This is part of a series, but it definitely can be read and enjoyed as a stand alone. I literally stayed up all night because I could not put this book down. I cried, laughed, clapped with joy and even went down my own memory path of Christmases past. I would love to be a part of this 'cool' group.

I read this book, in my favorite series, over Christmas, so I was really in the spirit of the season.
"Spirit" with a double entendre.

In this book, two more people are let into the secret of the mediums on Beach Drive: their friend, the real estate agent, Adam, and his lawyer wife, Melody. Adam's deceased grandmother, Maria, is a major character in the series, despite being a ghost. When Adam interrupts a burglary at his house, grandma Marie leaps into action to save his life. This leaves Adam thinking that he has major sanity issues. No, he can't see Marie, but he sure can't figure out how the gun in one burglar's hand flew up onto the chandelier and then was on the table with the police arrived, nor how he managed to tie up two men when he was tied up himself. So he had to be told the secret: ghosts exist and the mediums see and talk to them.

The thread throughout this story is: what were the burglars looking for in Adam and Melody's house? Since all of the burglars end up dead, and were presumably sucked off to some undesirable place by an angry universe, they have to figure it out for themselves. Besides the current mystery, an old one is solved, and there is a romance. I love how the reader knows what every person in the series is doing. I love watching the twins grow, plus Lily and Ian's children, Connor, and the baby Emily Ann. Ian's sister, Kelly, greatly annoys me, but every story needs an annoying person to balance it.

And I'd love to spend Christmas at Marlow House.

This was a fantastic addition to the series!

I absolutely loved the storyline and the new characters. Haunting Danielle is my favorite ghostly series. I just adore all the characters -- human and ghostly. Max, Hunny, and Sadie are great furry characters! Marie and Eva are my favorite ghostly characters. This is a series I hope goes on for a very long time! Oh, and I can't wait until Walt and Danielle tell Adam and Melony about who Walt really is and was. That's going to be a extraordinary reveal!

Disappointing

Out of all 38 books this is the most boring. It has only two action points in the entire book, it really needs a rewrite. It will be the only one in the series that I won't buy the audiophile for, it would be a total waste of money to do so. I just hope Bobbi Holmes is not bored of writing about the Marlowe's, this book says she is. I would not recommend buying this one, get it from a library first and you'll see and read what I mean.

Cute but slow

This installment of one of my favorite series was so cute. I love that I got to read it around Christmas time to put me in the spirit. It was just so slow. It started out action packed and then just really slowed down. That being said, I still loved reading about all our favorite characters and their Christmas traditions. And I always love me a good Frederickport mystery.

Traditions

One thing about this book that everyone should leave with is what Danielle said, "traditions are different for each family. They change with each generation. They are passed down and one chooses what to do and which ones need a little tweaking. Its the memories that never change. Merry Christmas! On to the next adventure!😉💚💙🎄

Great book

While I love this series I wish Kelly would disappear. She is so nosy and pushy and always causing trouble. Too bad they made her Ian's sister. And paired her with another irritating person., Joe. But to move on. This is still a very good Christmas book. Mystery and lots of Christmas cheer.

Another winner

This book hooks you right from the start. There is so much going on all the time. I'm thrilled for finally sharing a secret, which I don't want to specify and spoil for someone that hasn't read yet. This has made me not only look forward to the next book, but want to go back and re-read previous ones as well.

Never stop

I've enjoyed this family and friends since day one. I find myself thinking if I ever took a vacation there where I'd stay and who I'd visit and like to meet before I realize the are characters in a book.. they are that real to me. Never stop as it'd seem all these people passed and we can't let that happen. I've already bought tne next one.

I have read all of this series more than once. And I have all of the Audible books too. My husband started listening to the Audible books and is hooked complete. Thank you, Bobbi Holmes.

This was the perfect read for a rainy day. I didn't figure out what was going on until midway through. I loved the way the family came together for Christmas.

Christmastime and several ghosts make for a different kind of celebration. Kelly is still annoying, but the divinity softened her a tiny bit. While everyone seemed to have a lovely time; Marie probably had the merriest Christmas of all.

Good plot, different story

I liked this story but got confused by all the characters! I still don't know who some of them are. It would be helpful to have the author(s) make a short sentence about some of the newer characters.

Perfect for the holidays read

I really loved that Adam and Melody now know that Marie ghost watch over them and her friend. That they are in the circle of friends with no lies or false stories. I enjoy every book.
