I do not want to give away any spoilers. I purchased the boxed set after reading the first book.... could not wait to read the rest of the set. Mac is a wonderful writer and sucks you into the story and this delightful were wolf. This wolf is very likeable. He plans to go thru his extended life alone. He has a wonderful moral compass and would never turn another person into a shifter without their permission, but Lenore has an unfortunate accident and is on death's door. This wolf just cannot bare letting her die, so he gives her his blood to save her life. He loves Lenore. This is a very easy read and I could not put it down until I finished the whole....... set.
There were A LOT of grammatical errors and typos in this! There was a part when describing the "he-wolf" in the shadows in the park & she keeps saying their eyes, their thus that & blah blah. It's HIS EYES! There was only one he-wolf being described! WTF. Other than that the story was short, easy to read, but nothing that would blow your socks off. I've generously given it 3 stars.
After reading the first installment, I was hooked but immediately regret buying this. This book just not stand out like its other siblings from the author, and the ending is just bleak. But this doesnt stop me from reading other books by this author, yet.
