I loved The Weekend Proposition, so when I had the chance to read & review The Weekend Surprise, of course I jumped on it.
What's better than reading about one Cannon brother...why, reading about the other of course!
When we meet Tyler in Cannon's book, I wasn't quite sure if he would get his own story or not, although I was hopeful...there is nothing in this world like a reformed bad-boy...and that describes Tyler to a T!
The Weekend Surprise is just as hot, if not hotter Than Spencer's book! Not only do we get a fantastic love story, but there is a bit of a mystery too. Sammy & Tyler burn up the pages of this book, it is a MUST read!
Each book is a stand-alone, but, my recommendation is to definitely read both! I mean really, you need to have both of the Cannon brothers in you life!

totally romantic
Great read! Charming story with endearing characters with great romantic gestures.
Tyler and Sammy connect on a level that neither have felt before. He’s the reformed party boy with no serious relationships. She’s dedicated her time to school and her music with no time for any boyfriends. Since the night they met their relationship has moved quickly but will the secret she is keeping destroy Tyler’s trust?

Well if I thought Spencer and Coda were sexy, enjoyable and just perfect for each other, I was wrong. Because there is no way that Tyler and Sammy aren't exactly what they needed to be together forever. I also think that Sammy and Tyler help balance each other out perfectly. Even though Tyler grew up in a privilaged life, he is still pretty humbled, though having matured a lot since his early twenties might have a lot to do with it. He also doesn't seem to care that Sammy doesn't have the same things that he does. Sammy is such a great character. She is independent and works hard. She is also extremely talented and loves her family. She had a bit of a rough start at the beginning and her life definitely wasn't easy, but she is a fighter that is for sure.
I liked the steamy connection between the two is such a built up for quite a while, but when they finally give into their physical needs and desires there is a tenderness to it. The fact that they love each other is apparent.
There is only one little hiccup to them getting their happily ever after... Sammy has a secret and its a bad way to start a relationship, but I like the fact that she really could careless about the past and only wants to focus on the future.
I have to say that Ella does a great job about how she resolves the conflict between Sammy and Tyler. And finally does give us their happily every after.
As with any story we love the main characters, but there are also a few additional characters that steal our hearts, and the senior Cannon, Tyler and Spencer's grandfather was that character for me.

Oh those Cannon brothers :)
This is the 2nd book in a great series by Ella Jade.
I had first read the prior book, "The Weekend Proposition", and it quickly became a favorite of mine. Spencer Cannon *sigh* :)
Having said that, as much as I quickly titled Spencer Cannon as a favorite Book Boyfriend, once I read book #2, "The Weekend Surprise", and I learned more about his younger brother, Tyler, oh boy... Move over, Spencer... Tyler just won me over a little bit more than you had ;)
We had met Tyler in book 1, but in this book we learn so much more about him (he's smart, sweet, caring, considerate...). We also meet the very sweet Sammy. I strive to make sure I never give spoilers in my reviews of any books. All I'll say is that there's an element of mystery added into the mix of this great reading experience.
Ella Jade is a favorite author of mine. I've enjoyed so many of her books, and I've recommended them to other readers.

You might have read here before that I'm an Ella Jade fan. I enjoy her books because they give me that perfect escape filled with temptation, passion, and the anticipation of the famous question of will they or won't they make it to their happily ever after. She always delivers and the sequel to The Weekend Proposition is another beautiful example.
In The Weekend Surprise, we get to know the other Cannon brother, Tyler. He picks up Sammy at the bar during a wedding reception. The chemistry between them is undeniable. The instant spark leads them to some of the most tempting and tantalizing scenes. Yum! Tyler likes to talk dirty too. I honestly can't pick which Cannon brother I like best. It's one hot Cinderella story. Ella Jade really delivers on this one. The story continues with a fabulous twist and turn and a satisfying ending too. It's another 5-star read.

It is no secret about my love for Ella Jade or The Weekend Proposition, so when I heard there was going to be a sequel, I was over the moon!!
Spencer Cannon's little brother Tyler has been growing up and taking a bigger role in the family company. So when he meets a very attractive lady, he is taken aback. He knows he wants to get to know her for more than just for the night. Sammy is drawn to the wedding for personal reasons but when she meets Tyler, everything changes.
This was a great read and the chemistry between these two stunning individuals. They must work through life's ups and down; but at the end of the day what doesn't break up, makes you stronger. If you've loved Spencer and Coda, then you'll love Tyler and Sammy!

I had received The Weekend Proposition from Mrs. Jade and I loved it so in turn had to buy The Weekend Surprise.
It was just as GREAT!!! I loved it.
OMG I want my own Tyler! Sexy as F**K , Carring, and not to mention rich. What else do you need?
Sammy.... Such a caring sweet person and beautiful. She meets Tyler by chance trying to get a glimpse of Coda. She gave him an excuse as to why she was at the hotel bar thinking she would never see him again. So when things take a turn and get hot and heavy between them Tyler realizes her secret will he ever trust her?
this is a must read. Ella Jad has a way of pulling you in to her stories and you cant put the book down till you are done reading

If you enjoyed The Weekend Proposition then you will love this book. Tyler is just as hot as his brother but more grown up in his role at the agency. Sammy is just trying to figure things out and was hoping to find out a truth about who her father might have been. Neither one was expecting what was to happen. Ella does an amazing job with the second book to this story. You fall more in love with Spencer and Coda but also find room to love and get to know Tyler more and to meet and adore Sammy. Just what happens when two people aren't looking for love find it and a secret almost rips it apart? Read to find out and see what everyone is talking about.

I enjoyed this story, I thought Sammy was a awesome character and Tyler well (sigh) he's sexy as hell, he's a eligible bachelor and a total sweet heart. I thought the two together were perfect, the sex scenes were scorching and I loved that Sammy is full of surprises. I love that Tyler grandfather takes to Sammy right off the bat. I thought this was a great sequel to The Weekend Proposition. Spencer and Coda are back and better than ever (I love them) I thought Spencer was a little over protective when it came to Sammy's secrets but he loves his family. I love the relationship that started between Sammy and Coda. A Great all around book. 4 stars.

I received this book as an arc for a honest review. I read this book as a standalone as I had not read the first book. This book works great as a standalone but from this book I know the first book had to be awesome also! I loved Sammy and Tyler. They were wonderful characters and I knew Sammy must have a secret. Sammy and her innocence and Tyler and his worldliness were a great combination and the chemistry was spectacular. This was a 5 star read and I highly recommend it a romantic, sexy hawt read!

Fantastic book! I loved seeing the characters from The Weekend Proposition back in this book and found Tyler's story really enjoyable. Sammy was loveable and it was great seeing her relationship with Tyler develop. Highly recommended read.

Read, Read, Read
I read the first book and loved it, I bought this book thinking there was no way I was going to like this second book, you know how most of them go. Well imagine my surprise when i couldnt put this one down, my only complaint is WHY IS IT OVER? I did not want this story to ever end. Ms. Jade is it really over? Please no.

Absolutely loved this book!! Tyler & Sammy have such amazing, hot chemistry that left me speechless. I loved how from the very beginning Ella hooks you in. I couldn't put it down!! Amazing Job Ella Jade!!!

This is a good story a out finding love and learning about family secrets. Sammy sees the woman she thinks .ight be her sister in the papers. She tries to get to see her at her wedding reception. Sammy meets Tyler first and finds more than she bargained for.

I absolutely loved Sammy and Tyler. Their story was amazing. Two different people from different worlds yet they make it work and balance each other out. A truly great read!
