He is the author of the Zombie Attack! series, The Rising Dead, A Thirst For Fire, and the UNDEAD L.A. series. Devan also wrote the original screenplay for the movie HVZ: Humans Versus Zombies. He writes a bimonthly horror column for Escapist Magazine called Dark Dreams.
Devan's fiction has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and the Million Writers Award. In 2012 his debut novel Zombie Attack! Rise of the Horde won Best Zombie/Horror E-book on Goodreads. He is also an active member of the Horror Writer's Association.

An infectious and addictive read filled with thrills.
This book collection will appeal to any picky thrill seeking YA.There are thrills galore and in the Army of the Dead, has more gore and a hidden element. In Rise of the Horde, we find Xander a 16 yr old boy at the time and his brother Moto made him promise he would stay at the Vanderberg Airforce Base to stay safe when Moto had to leave.How was Moto to know what was going to to come?There is a good cliffhanger at the end of book one.
In Army of the Dead, we find Xander with his young wife Felicity Jane, and him leading a colony of civilians just outside if Barstow.Not only are they dealing with daily life in a world of Zombies, they are trying to rebuild.They also run into a colony of practicing cannibals called the Alphas.
Both books are very well written,with characters you feel for their plight, but around every bend there are heart-stopping thrills and twist that is sure to keep the Young adult reader interested it is downright addictive book. Well done Devan Sagliani!

Gets better and better, great for a young to mid teen.

This was a clear 5 star read! I love anything Zombied and this book definitely is now high on my favorite Zombie stories. Face paced, always something going on and great characters too.
