Lowell's on his way home from work one fine rainy evening when he sees a girl fighting a demon monster in small lot behind a building. Pretty typical evening in Seattle for the most part. He takes her in and trying to get her home safe proves to be much more complicated than he expected.
I bought this (and other books) from Mr Fitzgerald at a convention in Salem, August 13th of 2016. I purchased this as on a whim while buying his other novels and I'm very happy I did. It's a well thought out novella with a clear and realistic story line, or as realistic as a fantasy story line can be. Included in my enjoyment was the foreword and Mr Fitzgeralds bio. Thanks for the humor in a very enjoyable quick read.
I started reading and could not put the book down. It is a short read, action packed and I loved the storyline, could not wait to find out what was happening. Mr. Fitzgerald is a new author to me and this book ensures that I will be reading more of his work!
Really good unusual narrative. I liked the minimal dialogue and the fact that the narrator had no idea what was happening. It made the story more interesting and generally more thrilling.
