This is a book that provides guidance on how to create a lifestyle of Supernatural Healing. The author lays out a foundation for healing and that it has a place today. I did find some disagreement with some of the methodology for how healing happens. Lyman stated that God does not heal because healing is a finished work. We need to accept our healing. Yet, later in the book, Kynan quoted scripture that referenced God does the healing. Putting that aside, it is a good handbook.
An interesting outlook on how attitudes effect our ability to receive healing. Also how we need to have faith in order to have the ability to bring healing to others Having faith is necessary both to re ceive or to enable someone else to receive healing. I found this book very helpful. I would give it 5 stars
This was the best book that I have read so far about healing. It is an easy read with great explanation as to the why, what, when, where and who questions that need to be answered. We had healing training and I used excerpts from this book for explanation. I strongly recommend this book.
Kynan Bridges has become one of my favorite authors! His books offer hope in the TRUTH. Now, I also enjoy his videos! This book shares that we have the authority of Christ for victory, how God shows us His love by healing and has powerful prayers at the end of each chapter.
I've owned this book for several years and regret that I waited so long to read it. This book is so informative and taught me how to properly pray for healing.
Review Title: Healing 101 for Christians (review of The Healing Handbook by Kynan Bridges) Reviewer: Janice S. Garey ***** 5 Stars
This book opens the eyes of those who are blind to the power to heal that all Christians have within themselves because they house the Holy Spirit, the living God. God works through us, but we have to ask and call on the power of Jesus to heal. The author makes known what has been bypassed by many in churches today. God is still in the business of healing. He has never been out of the business although some of His shopkeepers have stopped believing that He can and will heal according to His will.
I find the book challenging because it asks believers to take a step of faith and believe at a new level where some have never tread in their walk with God. This seems like the perfect time to address this deficiency in belief and trust that has gone unchecked for quite some time. Personally, I think God has His reasons for not always choosing to heal within our chosen time frame. Perhaps He waits to hear even more people praying over one who needs healing. I have not yet finished reading the book, but hope it covers these types of questions I am considering while I read. As you can tell, this book makes you think deeply.
Lately I know several people who are sick or diseased, and I hope to use some of what I learn from this book to help them. I believe this will be a book to refer back to as a person grows in understanding through practice. The book has scripture to back up all that I have read so far. The scriptures included would be good for memorization as a reminder of the authority Jesus has to use the believer to help in the healing process.
I received this good book from bookfun.org in exchange for reading it and posting an honest review. I feel many Christians would benefit from reading this book and considering the information it presents. It shows that all true Christians have more power in them than they typically realize. The message of the book is very positive and may just be the break though a loved one needs for receiving a healing experience. Read this book and increase blessings for yourself and all those you know.

I found this book to be a refreshing read on healing not only physically but spiritually . Satan loves to burden us with sickness in order to distract us . But as this book explains, we have the power to overcome sickness. As the author says so powerfully, "The church holds the answers to the problem of sickness in the world-Jesus Christ."
As I was reading this book, I received a text from a friend that has been having health issues. I started sharing with her about this book and gave her scriptures to pray over herself. I don't believe in coincidence , but I do believe in divine appointments. This book inspired me to reach out to my friend and agree with her for healing. It was not by accident that I requested to read this book. God knew long before I even knew about this book, that a divine appointment was coming and He would supply scriptures and an undeniable desire to speak into my friend's life.
The author tells us , "that healing is the will of God." He explains that our words can be powerful by saying I am healed instead of saying I have cancer or whatever the illness may be. We need to proclaim that we are headed not that we are suffering from an illness. I love that the author is straightforward and doesn't sugarcoat anything. Our healing is there, and we need to proclaim it. I have been dealing with an illness for awhile and this book has given me much needed tools to overcome my fear and speak life into me. "God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power , and love , and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7
The Healing Handbook is written by Kynan Bridges, a senior pastor, conference speaker, and chairman of International Apostolic and Prophetic Council.
What an inspiring and motivational book on healing. To quote the author “the purpose of this book is to stir up zeal and a passion on the inside of you for more” and, indeed, it does. Scripture passages support the ideas that he conveys. He shares how to experience the miraculous gift, living inside us. He teaches how to use Jesus’s authority (based on scripture) to experience victory over illness. He reveals the barriers or blocks that hinder divine healing. He further teaches how to activate faith in order to release God’s power. He shares how to embrace signs and miracles regularly. The author’s writing style is simple, yet effective to appeal to any reader.
This is a wonderful book to reread and reference so as to live in the power of God. His words and ideas have changed my thoughts about healing and the fact that God’s Word proclaims that God desires our health and well-being. The scriptures show that healing and miracles are not just relegated to Bible times or to Jesus and His apostles in their time. Study of the scriptures and rereading the words of Bridges can make an impact on your life. I received this book through TBCN in exchange for an honest review.
An interesting read on the gift of healing. In some ways it is a good reminder that we should not be doubting God when He speaks to us about the promises He has made. From another perspective, it may be cautiously approached because it is an invitation to use God, rather than love Him.
At the same time, we should all also be open to receive the fullness of His promises. Kynan Bridges speaks about the availability of the gift of healing to all those who follow Christ. He chastises those who doubt God's presence in the world today. Many think that He no longer works miracles as they were only meant for "Biblical times." That is, of course, a direct contradiction of the promises He made to us during those same "Biblical times."
There is still a question remaining, however, of who is given the gift. Kynan insists that we are all given the gift of healing. Compare this, however, with St. Paul's epistle to the church in Corinth. In Chapter 12 of the First Letter to the Corinthians, Paul even asks the question: "Do all have the gifts of healing?" Just because you may not have one of the gifts of the Spirit does not mean you are not one of Christ's own. the epistle does imply, however, to ask, and especially to be open, to the gifts God may give you.
The Healing Handbook leads you to understand that sickness is not from God, but from sin, and Satan. Kynan Bridges leads you through scriptures and prayers to learn how you can accept God's healing faith to be healed and even to pray for healing in others. Each chapter is so descriptive and has questions and prayers at the end of the chapters. You cannot go through this book without learning what God has meant for you to live without sickness or illness in your lives. Kynan spells out chapter by chapter exactly what you need to do to get this healing in your own lives and others as well. You will want to read, no, not just read, but to study this book thorughly so you and fight against what Satan brings into our lives. The Bible says that 'Satan has come to kill, steal and destroy' and that's what he's doing in our physical lives. Fight against him with the knowledge from this book. I was given this book by Book Fun Club in exchange for my honest opinion.
The Healing Handbook is a comprehensive guide to healing in a way that you have never experienced before. It starts with the history of healing and how sickness entered the Earth. It weaves Scripture through the handbook in a compelling way. It explains how we all have the power and instruction to heal. It gives very practical steps on how healing works. The book explains in a matter of fact way how to pray for healing.
What I found even more important is that it explains at least 10 barriers to healing and how to break them. The book explains faith and healing. It also explains healing myths. Are you a Christian? Are you seeing healing in your life and the lives of people you are praying for? If your answer is no, then you need to read this book.
All Christians should be seeing healing in their lives. Here is a way to learn how.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Healing Handbook by Kynan Bridges. It was thought provoking, encouraging, inspiring and made me think long after I turned the last page. Reading his book reinforced a principle that God has been speaking into my life for the last few months. God wants us to PRAISE Him ahead of time for the healing, blessings, trials that we are going through, knowing that He is in control and wants good for our lives. That is a very simplistic way of describing the life lesson God has been showing me, but I thank Kynan Bridges for further encouraging me on a lesson God wanted me to learn.

Kynan Bridges gives practical advice on healing in the book "The Healing Handbook", which is so important to me and something that I think the church doesn't talk about. I think this is a topic that the church ignores and often forgets that God commissioned healing that healing still happens and Jesus still calls his people to heal the sick. This book gives believers authority on how to experience victory over sickness and disease. Kynan backs everything up in scripture and ultimately reminds us that healing comes when we have faith in God. We need to believe in him for our healing. I really appreciate this book because the church is missing books like this! This book was so encouraging. I will be sharing this with others who I know need healing in their lives.
This book presents a challenge to the reader. It goes back in time to talk about the history of healing and how illness first came to the planet. Throughout the book, Scripture is used to reinforce what is being taught to each one of us. After all, each of us has the power to heal. For such a small book, this book is packed with powerful teachings on healing.
Many don't believe they have this power because of the barriers that are there. This book also instructs the reader how to break through them.
What a powerful book. I want to thank Kynan Bridges, a senior pastor and an author, for allowing me to read this book.

I haven't even finished the book yet, but am so excited about it. It has me wanting to lay hands on every person I see ailing in any way! If we believe God is who He says He is in the Bible, and that we are who we say we are, then we know we have the power of Holy Spirit in us to heal. I love how Dr. Kynan Bridges emphasizes that the power to heal isn't about us, but all about God, for the sole purpose of authenticating God's message! Just as with the people Jesus healed in the Bible, all He requires is faith. I'm underlining and writing my notes in the book, because this will be one of my manuals.
I received this book as a first read. It's an ok book and is somewhat inspirational. However, the stories seem a bit incredible. If all you had to do to heal someone was pray for them, no one would be sick. The referenced Bible passages and etymology references are nice though and the book is otherwise decently written.
The Healing Handbook is a thought provoking, and inspiring book. Based on Scriptures, the author gives direction on how to heal yourself and others physically, spiritually, and emotionally. This book can be read by anyone and appreciated. I received the book from the Book Club Network in exchange for my honest opinio
A most interesting book on healing. I liked the definitions and the choice of Bible verses and the way Kynan explained them. I all has to do with a deep faith, and most of us don't reach that plateau. Food for thought and discussion...
