Unlike any book you’ve ever read, I Call Myself Coca Joe is the first in a compelling series, exploring the themes of truth, redemption, loyalty, and hope.
I was invested in the characters from the moment I picked up the book. I felt like I was in the Badlands right along with Coca Joe. The author uses beautiful, descriptive language. I can't wait to read more about Coca Joe's past, the "Boarding House", & her new adventures moving forward. This is not a light read, it can get pretty deep & dark. I loved it!!!
