姊弟戀、女主角慘遭愛慕者強暴的橋段或許會令讀者想起《神雕俠侶》，實際上《藍與黑》也比《神雕俠侶》早一兩年誕生……談及青年投身抗戰、內戰，國府的政治理念可說是佐料，甚至可在其中隱約嗅出國府為何會在內戰中潰敗（比如鄭美莊的軍閥老爸、蘇聯接收東北的態度）。（寫於2008年）
