So much in so little time.

It is remarkable how one can develop a strong emotional connection to the characters and feel a sense of camaraderie within a relatively short span of time. This was a concise narrative that delivered a profound sense of retribution. After a devastating revelation, Amina demonstrated remarkable resilience and took decisive action. While her method of revenge may not align with my personal preferences, I commend her ability to navigate challenging circumstances and maintain her unwavering principles. I am genuinely intrigued by the prospect of exploring spin-offs that delve into the lives of each character introduced in this story.

This book had less than 50 pages, but the story was solid and surprisingly well put together. I was entertained from start to finish. Amina was not playing any games. Whew, she was definitely the wrong one to cross. I love a woman who stands on business and doesn’t tolerate nonsense the first time something goes left.

I enjoyed that the fmc did not accept struggle love and did what's best for her.

Amina has been betrayed by her those who claimed to love her. The way she got her lick back was calculated and well deserved. This short story packed a powerful punch. My favorite character was Chance Sr., and the least favorite was Chance. You’ll have to read the story to find out why.

A woman scorned is the most dangerous woman there is.

Betrayal really turns people into something sinister, or maybe it just makes them show who they've always been. Either way, that get back be so vile that it's probably worse than the act that deserves it. Imagine giving someone 13 years of your life only for them to mess it up in a matter of a few months. Your woman's intuition is telling you that something isn't right, but you're gaslighted to believe that it's all in your head.

If you needed to know how to get your lick back...this is how you find out. I am curious to know how she felt comfortable to do what she did..not against it but how is it he was building a relationship with his pappy but you twos seemed to be very acquainted?...

With her best friend I thought the story was going for a dark turn but it didn't which i am sad about lol.

I enjoyed how this novella flowed and didn't just jump from this to that and the ending also made sense, but also left it open for more. This was a good read

Nah, who needs enemies when you have friends like that? When I saw her going after that trifling bitch, I was like, 'Yes.' Then it didn't go the dark way I wanted lol. I cannot believe that in this small novella we went through that many emotions. My jaw was on the floor when the betrayal was revealed.
Amina is the definition of get back. I love that for her. I would've done the same thing. 😹😂😹.

Super short read but I was looking for a nice revenge book. The revenge that Amina got on Unique was crazyyy like wow lol. A cool quick little read, the end was just ok but I’ll probably check out more from this author to get a better feel for her work with a longer story.
