Rate this book
All 3 Novellas in "The Someone To Love Me" Trilogy:

Undeserving (Novella #1 in the Someone To Love Me trilogy)

All of her life, Bree had been treated badly by men. According to her mother, it was just the way it was with the women in her family and there was no point in trying to fight it. There was no sense in dreaming about Prince Charming right out of the story books, he just didn't exist. She had to accept her fate and move on. It was as simple as that. Bree craved love. She longed for a man to promise her his heart and soul and protect her from the monsters that she had grown accustomed to. She prayed that her mother was wrong and that one day he would find her.

Unforgiving (Novella #2 in the Someone To Love Me trilogy)

When she is given a second chance, Bree tries to put the pieces of her shattered life back together. Without her abusive husband ruling her every move, she begins to enjoy her newly found freedom and decides to explore her feelings for his younger brother. But is the violence truly over? Or is Bree undeserving as her mother always said she was......

Understanding (Novella #3 in the Someone To Love Me trilogy)

Still believing that her mother may have been right and everything she touches turns to dust, Bree decides to break away from the entire Butler family. Can she put the pieces of her shattered past behind her and start afresh on her own? Or will Trey's undying love draw her back into his arms and into his world once more.

A survivor of sexual abuse, I have recently written the true account of my childhood, titled: Life After Hell: Surviving Sexual Abuse. I have tried to convey what happened to me as well as my journey to finally getting justice.

A lot of my real life experiences have gone into my fictional works - especially my first book The Man of My Dreams, where I created a vigilante vampire that kills rapists and child molesters.....

I've loved Vampires and the paranormal ever since I can remember and always envisaged myself writing a book or two on the subject! I have written 5 books in The Dream Series so far: The Man of my Dreams, Be Careful What You Wish For, The Chosen One, Succubus: An Erotic Companion and A Match Made in Hell. All Paranormal Romance novels with Vampires(of course) as well as a bit of blood and gore thrown in and the 4th one is slightly on the erotic side!

I also recently published a short story (Why Won't Someone Help Me?) about my health issues and the trouble with getting diagnosed or treated for invisible illnesses.

Undeserving – Bree is a very strong willed woman and is determined to break free from all of the pain and heartache in her life. I did not like Greg at all. I loved his brother Trey, the warmth and love he shows Bree is so refreshing. I love how this trilogy makes light of what some women go through in life with abuse. I found that I could relate with this story to an extent. Gladys Quintal shows that there is more to life than being abused, and living the life we want.
Unforgiving – Bree and Trey’s passion for one another after the abuse Bree goes through is so beautiful. Still cannot stand Greg, he is a monster in all sense of the word. The strong bond that Bree and Cathy make is so heartwarming. They can relate to one another and their friendship is unbreakable. I love how this trilogy makes light of what some women go through in life with abuse. I found that I could relate with this story to an extent. Gladys Quintal shows that there is more to life than being abused, and living the life we want.
Understanding – For Bree everything seems to be falling into place but then something happens to make her feel undeserving all over again. She proves to be a very strong, caring, and loving woman even with all of the difficulties. I feel for Bree, Trey, Lou, and Cathy. They come together in a time of need when it is needed most. I love how this trilogy makes light of what some women go through in life with abuse. I found that I could relate with this story to an extent. Gladys Quintal shows that there is more to life than being abused, and living the life we want.

I received these books by the author for an honest review.

My honest review:

This trilogy had my hooked from the first page and I had to keep turning the page to find out what was going to happen next!

Bree is a very strong woman and determined to have a wonderful life. Unlike what her mother had and put her through. Bree thought she found the right guy, he was so sweet and caring towards her until they were married. Then everything changed. Greg became a monster and eventually tried to kill her. Thankfully Greg had a younger brother, Trey, that also loved Bree and he saved her. He saved her in many ways. There are many things that happen in these 3 stories and you can feel the struggles that everyone goes through.

The characters are easy to relate to and like I said you can feel the struggles of each of the characters. You feel the abuse that is suffered and the love that is shared. I don't want to give anything away, because you should really read this and hope for the happily ever after.

This was a very good trilogy as a whole. I'm glad I got to read them all together instead of having to wait because I kept wanting more. I would really recommend this trilogy. It had some pretty steamy scenes, which are always a plus!
