Rate this book
Depicting the reigniting of a fan base that has known such celebrated and colorful quarterbacks as Don Meredith, Roger Staubach, and Troy Aikman, this book shows that Tony Romo has emerged as next in succession of great signal-callers for the Dallas Cowboys. From growing up in Burlington, Wisconsin, and his days at Eastern Illinois University to his sudden rise to fame with the Cowboys, this is the story of America's next quarterback.

The book gave a lot of facts and details about Tony Romo. Tony Romo didn`t have the hardest time getting into a good college he hasn`t faced major issue like some of the other NFL quarterbacks. His biography was good it gave a really good idea of who he is hard worker, Passionate about the sport he plays, and never gives up. But it was missing that thrill of he had to overcome this huge obstacle. His journey into the NFL wasn`t a glorious one like Emmit Smith`s or Sean Lee. But the information you got from it was more than enough it talked about a lot of things in his past. It talked about what he is about to come and he could be one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. The book was written in 2007 so it didn`t get to talk about the field goal that was miss handled by him and caused the cowboys to not go to the Superbowl. It talked about how promising and hopeful he is. But we have been around now long enough to see that he will always be good and clutch in the closing moments of the game like in the 2015 season first game against the New York Giants when he made a one minute drive to beat their rivals and take home the victory. He has a lot of potential if surrounded by the right guys and I think coming from a Dallas Cowboy fan myself that one of these season were going to get it right. This book was written early in his NFL career so it talked a lot about the potential he has to become one of the greatest. But since it was written earlier in his career it does not give me the information that I want it talks about his college days some of his childhood and his early success in the NFL but I want how he is doing now. But overall it was a good read I wouldn`t read it again because just of how boring it could be at times but yeah those are my thoughts.

This book could not have been less interesting. It does a great job of leveling my workbench though.
