"Ms. Sherry James has written a marvelously entertaining, fast-paced book which was almost impossible to put down. I love her writing style—she introduces alpha males, but does not minimize the abilities and strengths of the women she pairs the men with. Her characters are dynamic and confident in their abilities to perform. The characters are believable and compliment the sub characters in her stories."---Brenda Talley, The Romance Studio.

"Deliciously funny, erotic, and sexy, Woman in Charge will certainly kick your engine into gear. I can't wait for the next book in this series."---Cheryl, the Book Connection.

Well, I don't read straight romance, but I know the author of this book, and I wanted to be able to tell her I had read one of her books the next time I ran across her. The title is a little risque...cliche, one of those words, but it is the name of a business, a name even the owners seem to be a little sheepish about having chosen (so I don't feel bad having felt that way when I bought it). I presume it was your basic romance, it was set in Lincoln, so it was probably a little more familiar to me than the locals of most books. Sherry did a nice job adding those "Nebraska" details that out-of-staters miss. I would say I enjoyed it and would recommend it to romance readers, but it did not convert me to the genre.

I had a lot of trouble getting into this story. I actually really liked the characters just not the basis of the story. if you are an Elvis fan you will love this book. I myself am not a fan. therefore all of the minute detailed descriptions of graceland and memorabilia and songs and movies and clothing....well you get the point...it just was too much for me. the first book of the series was better but I honestly can say I will not be looking out for this authors books in the future.
