The story is about a boy called Sean who loves football. His favourite time was city and he was a huge fan of Joe Jackson, the star striker. But a mystery begins because his mum hates football and his dad mysteriously hates Joe Jackson and the reader has to work out why.

I really enjoyed this book because the football descriptions were very realistic and the mystery part was exciting and I wanted to find out all the details. I would give it 9.5 out of ten. I think other eight to eleven year olds that like football would like this book.
