A step-by-step guidebook for managing just about everything with the use of one hand whether your one-handedness is temporary, long-term, or permanent.
I was very excited to get this book but did not like it. Majority of what this book taught me was either tricks I already learned from rehabilitation therapy or things I already taught myself to do using one hand. Furthermore, the directions on how to do things with one hand were very confusing. Instead of reading everything, I simply looked at the subheadings to get ideas on things I could teach myself to do using one hand since the directions were so confusing. Most importantly, this book may be for an amputee or someone who only has one arm but it is NOT good for stroke survivors. Today I suffer from left neglect and am tired from overusing my dominant side. If you are a stroke survivor, I would suggest you read "Stronger After Stroke: Roadmap to Recovery" and work on restoring your affected side instead of reading this book and trying to take the easy way out.
This book truly is the step-by-step guide to managing just about everything with the use of one hand.
A s reader is quoted on the back cover said, “from cribbage to cutting boards and those darn individual butter, jelly or creamer tubs, you’ve covered it all!”
