My favorite book genre has to be those business books akin to Chicken Soup For the Soul kind of book.To me, my favorite books are books with witty vocabularies and lots of totally-unexpected jolts and kicks. I love parodies, mordant, dark stuffs because I embrace the mortal culture, and arts and puns. This is such a short novel. Let's Make Love is "shakespearian," it' comedy, it gives me hours of entertainment. Cynicisms of the rebels! Although some jokes in here, I felt I could not laugh because they so vulgarly against female race, I do appreciate bluntness of the narrator or author for being authentic self, because everybody has an original point of view, right? His opinions are not outrageous, and he probably hates the corporate cult so much he has to vent with humorous sarcasm hoping someone would just hear him out. Thanks for lurid witticisms, Chum! Why does the asinine Agnes has to be in the story. She is no laughing matter because she is a pitiful handicap young girl. Get out, Agnes! Every time she appears, which I don't see why, it ruins all the fun of the party because it makes me stop chuckling. What can I say about the art of this writing style? the prose is lax, lively, matter of factly, energetic, exciting. I miscalculated the plot sequencing many time and I love that! I wish to find and read more surprising books like this. THE LAST CHAPTER. The mood is different in that it's now intense, somber, and amorous here. The proposal is a deadly one! My heart beat slowed down many instances, and literally my heart petrified, and I shivered with chill. Something are not meant to say, and be really careful who you reveal your amorous armor to. Wonderful craftsmanship from the author is evident.
We have Amanda Dell who is so empathetic, who can see through other people's eyes and know what it is like to be in their world. She is the perfect girlfriend, don't you think so?
