Little Timmy’s funny observations of life in the Big City.
When the Flock decides it’s time for a day out, Timmy gets to come along to the Big City. Many things are very different there. Other things are the same. It turns out that city folk get sheared, too!
What a delightful board book! My grandson is going to love this one. The story is entertaining, the graphics are beautiful, and if you are a fan of Wallace and Grommet, you will be mesmerized by this board book. Although the target audience for "Shaun the Sheep Movie - Timmy in the City" is very young beginning readers (ages 2-5 years old), parents will delight in reading this story to their babies and toddlers as well. Picking out books for the very young can be tough without actually doing the "hands-on" in the bookstore. I am very happy to have won this book from goodreads first reads as I now have another "go to" source for board books for my grandson up to age 5.

My daughter loves Shaun the Sheep! She saw the movie a few weeks back during her first trip to the movie theater and got a poster a few days ago. She loved this book and laughed at the pictures. The book is focused more on Timmy the baby of the group but still a great book for any young fan.
I won this book for free on Goodreads first reads. I thought it was a very cute story and that my two great nieces and my great nephew will really enjoy it. I look forward to more giveaways about Shaun the Sheep.
loved the book which I read over & over again with my 4 year old niece. the pictures were beautifully done & took me back to my youth living in the country.
Aardman, the internationally acclaimed animation studio, created the stop-action films featuring Shaun the Sheep and his cousin Timmy. The “Shaun the Sheep: The Movie” debuted in August 2015, and fans are sure to snap up this board book tie-in. Young readers will appreciate the humorous details captured in the full-color, double-page photographs that comprise the brief 12-page board book.
Timmy and the flock want a day off. They are indulging in pizza and a movie on the television, when the farmer’s dog puts an end to their fun. Undaunted, the sheep disguise themselves and head for the big city! There they find many things that are different from their country lifestyle, and a few that are the same (for example, they find that people in the city are sometimes sheared, too!).

I enjoyed it and my little cousins enjoyed it too. It's cute and I like that it's durable(they need to be, when you give them to 3 years olds.) I actually haven't read a Shaun the sheep book since elementary school, so it was nostalgic. In the book we follow Timmy, Shaun's little cousin, while they are in the city. It's a really short and sweet little book for kids but is also nostalgic to adults familiar with Shaun and the gang.

This book was great-my sons (5&6) loved the pictures, which kept their attention, and were able to follow the story easily. I like that it's a board book and cannot be easily destroyed! We are definitely looking forward to the movie!
This book was really cute! The story and pictures were funny and sweet. My children (5 years old, 18 months old) were both delighted by the story and pictures. They wanted to hear it twice in a row!
Based on the Shaun the Sheep movie. While the farmer naps, Timmy and friends spend the day exploring the big city for the first time. Although this is a board book, it is written for a slightly older audience (3-5). Fans of the movie will likely enjoy it.
