This book and the other books that i have from this series are personally one of the best series of short story books i would recommend these books to middle schoolers. It really leaves you with what will happen and some of the characters about what will happen next.This is also a comedic type of book well for at least me and this book will leave you to want to read all the other books this author has to offer.One of my favorite parts in the book was when the dad didn't even know that the aliens were attacking he thought they were filming a movie.

It's Arty's birthday and he's celebrating with his friends Sam and Emmie at the Observatory in Sitting Duck. An exciting thing happens as they are looking through the telescope they see a UFO. It's coming fast approaching Earth. Unfortunately the mayor makes them think he's trying to hurt them and they become hostile wanting to take over the Earth. Of course Sam, Emmie and Arty have to save everyone. It's a fun story as the trio tries to stop the aliens from using their ray guns which happen to make people explode. This is written with humor and there are fun facts inside to help you if you ever have the need to fight aliens.

The town of Sitting Duck has been invaded by aliens from the planet Sulphurius 374 with long term plans to take over the entire Earth. It's up to Sam, Arty, and Emmie to throw a wrench in the alien's plans and thwart their mission. Easier said than done, but if anyone can do it this trio can.

A group of children get involved in a battle with aliens that are attempting to take over the world.

I thought this book well written and amusing.

I’m sure both children and parents will enjoy this book.
